Dr. DeFilipp received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine in 2010. Following his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Western Pennsylvania Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA, he completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In 2016, Dr. DeFilipp joined the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.

From the moment that I've met Dr. Defilipp to this current minute, he has been outstanding in caring for me, my family, and anyone else involved with my diagnosis. He is educated, he is timely with his education, and he provides a stress-free, trustworthy care. I will never not go to him for my care and I highly recommend him to any patient, any person that I know who will be needing oncology care.

I have had Doctor DeFilipp as my Oncologist for 8 years now, and thru out those years he has provided excellent care. He has become more than a physician, and is now my good friend as well. I couldn't ask for a better care provider. [redacted]

I've been with Dr. DeFilipp now for six years. I've seen him regularly. He was my bone marrow transplant doctor. He's absolutely positively the best. He keeps in touch with me. He kept in contact with me when I was sick outside the hospital. He's absolutely the best. Love him.
