The provider, Dr. Shah was very easy to talk to, listened to what I had to say, and provided valuable insight on next steps.

Dr. Shah was incredibly kind and made me feel at ease. My treatment plan was discussed and all questions were answered.

Dr. Shah took the time to explain in detail the results of the x-rays and the symptoms that I was experiencing.

Dr Shah went above and beyond to adjust my appointment and see me during the aftermath of a snowstorm. He listened to my concerns and was most informative about my upcoming procedure and timeframe of the recovery period.

Dr. Shah had done my knee at a previous hospital, so when I needed my hip done, I followed him to Brigham and Women. He's an excellent doctor. I like him very much.

Dr Shah was straight forward with info about knee replacements. My main concern was pain management used post op. He reassured me my pain would be addressed as I wanted but that remains to be seen

Dr. Shah was an extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional surgeon. I have consulted with two other highly recommend surgeons from other hospitals in Boston and Dr. Shah hands down put me at ease considering that I have two to three major surgeries coming up in the next couple of years. The biggest problem is calling on the telephone trying to get a response.

Dr Shah performed a right hip replacement on me a year ago. It went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results. He's is very easy to speak to, listens carefully and definitely knows his stuff. The whole process focused on getting me home and in recovery as soon as possible. Very successful.

I had a great experience. I talked with a number of doctors about my situation and he was right on. The only thing I would say, I didn't have the visibility that he studied all my prescriptions and stuff, which is fairly complicated for me, but he certainly knew about my MRI for my back, which I just had. So he did look pretty closely at the situation. I was very satisfied.

Dr. Shah was very concerned about my issues of pain and decreased ability to walk for any distance. He noted my limping and Xrayed my hip to see if that was causing my pain rather than my knee and discussed what to do if the hip X-rays were negative, which they were so the next plan is to have a bone scan.

Great bedside manner and unbelievable radiology process-they took films that absolutely showed the damage to my knee! He was conservative in surgical procedures suggesting a partial KR, since the rest of my knee had good tissue. Very please!

Dr. Shah is the best. He listens to you and answers all your questions. He gave me a right total hip replacement 11years ago which I am very happy with and now he will give me a total hip replacement for my left hip.

Dr. Shah did an excellent hip replacement and took care of me beautifully afterwards by sending me to Spaulding Charlestown. He is a compassionate physician as well.

Dr. Shah is kind, polite and positive. He addressed my questions about my X-rays completely and gave me assurance that he would be there for me if the need arises.

Dr Shah and his medical assistant and the doctors and nursing staff, that performed my minor outpatient surgery were outstanding. They worked through an issue I had with allergies to a certain medicine and provided an excellent alternative. Everyone was very helpful across the entire visit.

I think Dr. Shah is great. He explains everything. He treats you with dignity. Obviously, the surgery was incredibly successful thanks to him. I won't comment about the experience at Faulkner Hospital as an inpatient, but the piece of it that I cared about the most, obviously, is Dr. Shah. And he explained everything, did exactly what he said he was going to do. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Shah's patients are extremely fortunate to have the benefit of his great expertise and his humane care for the whole patient.

So this provider was particularly skilled at questioning my former level of mobility, how my mobility was impacted at present, how it's been impacted, and what I hope to continue or resume doing with, if need be, a prosthetic hip. He was actually wonderful. I've not had a surgery with him yet, but with regards to just understanding and finding out where I am and what I'm looking for, and as I say, what I like to do with my leisure time and how my mobility impacts that. He was wonderful. Very down-to-earth, very personable. A credit to Brigham and Women's, really, truly.

Yes, I've been having trouble with my hips and I figured I needed an orthopedist. I asked my dermatologist, Mass General, and this doctor was recommended. I've always taken the position the best way to find the best doctors is to find who your existing doctors know, period. We were very comfortable, very satisfied. My wife, who is a doctor-phobic, was also extremely impressed.
