Dr Mughal was very pleasant and concerned about my physical as well as emotional well being. He also shared about his family when asked. We discussed the medicines I am taking and also offered a referral to see the Orthopedis again. He suggested I use a knee support for any long term standing or walking to assist in the lessening of pain in my knee.

I generally feel like our medical system is seriously outdated, and the information/advice I receive is years behind where the broader health and wellness industry is at. If I have a broken arm or some other acute medical issue, I think seeing a doctor is perfectly fine. But in terms of advising on my overall health, and the best methods for improving longevity or accomplishing my broader health and fitness goals, a primary care doctor is simply not equipped to adequately advise. Further, their evaluation methods are imprecise and rather ineffective.
