Dr. Jurkunas recognize how much dry eye affected my vision. She notified my Glaucoma doctor to change my eye drop prescriptions to preservative free eye drops. She also advised me to order a Bruder Mask to use at before going to bed. I have already noticed an improvement in my vision. Dr. Jurkunas is an excellent Cornea Doctor.

The care provider is an expert in my eye disease and very capable. The care provider is usually hurried and can be aloof. She often does not take the time to explain things.

My resident doctor at least said he/she had heard of the malady that I feel may be causing my problem. My main provider clearly admitted that he/she did not know of the complaint/malady and had the courage to say they did not know what was causing my problem.

Everything was fine with the doctor. Also the people doing the eye tests were nice. The problem is I can't get anyone to return my call. I am having eye surgery and haven't heard back.

I saw this provider for a second opinion, based upon questions raised regarding the status of my cornea. I am very glad that I saw a specialist as careful as this one! It appears my cornea has no significant problems that would relate to my vision issues. That made the visit more than worthwhile!!

I originally went to this office for LASIK surgery evaluation. The doctor told me for Two reasons that I was not a candidate. I esteem her knowledge and expertise without question. She found a cataract that makes Lasik not a good idea but every year she tells me to eat another year for a lens implant. I wish she would just be more specific about details. How much is it progressing? She told me a little bit! Let's wait another year. If it's really going to be 5 years just come out with it. I know she can't predict the future but.... she could say the other reason (complicated) is not going to change and that's another reason why no LASIK for you. She could just say that too every year.

My experience was as good as I expected. I was very satisfied.

I have received treatment from this provider when needed over a period of 16 years, and have always had the utmost confidence in the care and expertise that was provided. It has also become clear that this particular department has many many needy patients, and they're doing the best they can to keep up. It did take me quite a while to get the original app't this time (in Lexington), but once in their care, I was quite satisfied with the service and the results.

Initially getting through to make an appointment was very difficult. It took contacting customer service or patient service to get my call through to schedule an appointment.
