This was my first visit with Dr Rau. I was impressed with his rather extensive knowledge of my medical history. He must have spent a fair amount of time on my case before my visit. He talked a lot about my problem, why it was occurring, and what we were going to about it. I was impressed with the amount of information that he gave me!

Dr. Rau has been my dr for over 35 yrs. I have always considered him the best there is. He draws pictures and explains what he is looking at and very good about bloodwork etc. Dr Rau is such an asset to the company. You got the best and sweetest guy.

[redacted] He would not let me speak and kept saying he was a doctor for over 45 years, and he knew everything about me. I did not get a chance to ask my questions. He told me, as he did in past, about the medications HE takes after he eats. At this visit he also told me everyone in Hingham takes lots of medications. What? I have no ties to Hingham whatsoever. Totally inappropriate comment. Quite disappointed with the visit. He does not use the computer to enter visit notes or order labs, rather handed me approx. 20 pages of my records that I already have and can see on my portal. When I checked out, my labs that he wanted done were not entered as he said they would be. Quite a disappointing visit.

Dr.Rau is outstanding! He let me take a later apt that day since I had a serious diarrhea issue which made me miss my apt. He is so understanding and explains everything clearly. He assured me he would solve my problem and explained the many ways to solve this issue.

This was a first-time visit related to several concerns following pelvic radiation treatments. Dr. Rau had all my pertinent information at hand, laid out the steps necessary to address my concerns and, working around my oncology concerns, set up necessary appointments to proceed with diagnoses.
