I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Todd Herrington (Neurology) and Dr. [redacted] (Neurosurgery) for a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) evaluation. Both doctors are not only incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, but they are also very humble and demonstrate a sincere care for their patients. They spent a significant amount of time getting to know me, listening patiently, and meticulously reviewing my past PD history. Dr. Herrington provided a very clear breakdown of the potential benefits and risks of DBS, even discussing specific brain targets like the GPi. [redacted] I felt truly heard throughout the entire process. They made sure I had an opportunity to ask questions and ensured all of my concerns were addressed in detail. I highly recommend this team to anyone navigating complex movement disorder decisions.
