About Tina Scheufele Cleary

Dr. Cleary is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who practices at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. She has vast experience in the medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases.

Dr. Cleary has spoken nationally, has published in many peer-reviewed journals, and has written chapters for text books. She is an investigator in numerous large, national clinical trials offering the most advanced therapies for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Cleary is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, New England Ophthalmological Society, Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and Massachusetts Medical Society. She treats her patients with the latest therapies for macular degeneration, and performs advanced retinal surgery for many vitreoretinal diseases, including macular holes, retinal detachments, and epiretinal membranes. She treats diabetic eye disease with the most advanced medical therapies, laser procedures, and surgeries.

Dr. Cleary has a special interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and surgical retinal diseases.
