Tom Roberts, MD MBA is an oncologist in the Center for Head and Neck Cancers. He is also an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Roberts earned a BA with Distinction at the University of Virginia, and then earned his medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and his fellowship in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Roberts’ clinical and research interests are in head and neck oncology, including oral, oropharyngeal, laryngeal, nasopharyngeal, salivary gland, and thyroid malignancies. His research focuses on the epidemiology of head and neck cancers and approaches to improve the quality of care for patients with cancer. He had received numerous awards and recognitions for his scholarship and research.

Dr. Roberts is a wonderfully skilled and highly respectful as he in formed me that I am now cancer free for 13 months!! I have been treated with dignity and respect on every visit with MGH personnel where ever I had personal interactions ! I am so appreciative of the care and sensitive way I have been healed!! I am amazed with the wonderful care from EVERYONE! The entire staff are Angels and all the patients I had a chance to chat with- all expressed my same sentiment!!
