This was my initial appointment with Dr. Holovacs and his PA [redacted]. We thoroughly reviewed my accident and my concerns moving forward. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire visit and look forward to continuing with this great team!

Dr. Holovacs and PA [redacted] are superb. I could not be more pleased than the results of my reverse shoulder replacement. In the office for my visit they make me feel heard and understood and take great care to understand the issue. I feel confident when I am in their presence as they know how to treat the concerns appropriately. Kudos to the entire staff. I highly recommend them!! :)

I appreciate and value the authenticity of the care provider(s). (MD) Dr Thomas Holovacs explained the reason why the surgery I'll be having is necessary. Before I met him, and the team, I was very worried because I never had a shoulder surgery before and don't know what it's going to be like. But listening to him talk about what he understands regarding the surgery, it made me feel comfortable and the worries I had diminished significantly. And also, before the appointment, the team stayed in touch with me and communicated with the folks from my healthcare services program that I was provided with for different outside reasons, which staying in contact made it possible to find a convenient appointment schedule, that enabled me to meet and have a productive conversation on the 18th of November with Dr Holovacs and members of the Care Provider(s) team. I am very thankful. note: And as Thanksgiving is near, I just want to wish everyone happy holidays, - may this holiday season bring all comfort, happiness and new beginnings.

We adore Tom Holovacs. I have had a total shoulder replacement. A knee microfracture and an L3- L4 back surgery done my him. My husband, [redacted] also a rotator cuff by him. [redacted]

My husband and I first met w Dr. [redacted], who had great demeanor, good listener. Dr Holovacs came in after conferring with Dr. [redacted] and clearly laid out my four options. Both of them listened to and answered my many questions. In the end we decided it was good to start w PT and stronger anti-inflammatory meds. [redacted] I appreciated Dr. Holovac's clarity, honestly, and decisiveness.

Dr. Holovacs listened to all my concerns and answered all of them. He made it a point to make sure I knew everything I would need to know. Very thorough and polite.

Dr. holovacs is a star in the mgh orthopedics department. I like his direct approach in talking with me. My fear is he will be overloaded with patients and will burn out. He did both reverse shoulder replacements for me. Grateful.

First saw a PA. Very helpful in explaining how the office works in seeing patients, had x ray it was up on her computer we viewed , decided together on next steps had an M R so Next appt it was reviewed surgery was best option, third appt was with doc everything explained all questions were answered

He walked into to the room and said "I'm not your guy"!! I was ready to leave and my brother asked a question. Every question asked (maybe 4 questions). He answered "thats up to you ". [redacted]

I've had issues with my right shoulder since 2009/2010 and have seen many orthopedic doctors in [redacted] MA. The only orthopedic doctor who I have full trust in with my shoulder is Dr. Holovacs. He is caring, extremely knowledgeable, and takes the time to actually listen to my concerns. He has always guided me in the right direction with my orthopedic care and I rest assured knowing that my right shoulder health is in his hands. In addition, he is an amazing surgeon (fixed my torn labrum in [redacted]). I would, without a doubt, recommend this physician to both my family members and my friends.

Dr. Holovacs was very professional and explained in plain terms my condition what was needed and how a shoulder replacement would be a big mistake I felt he was very knowledgeable about shoulders and steered me away from bad advice that I received. I feel confident in him .

Dr. Holovacs was very kind, understand what I was talking about, easy to talk to, And very professional. Dr. Holovacs tall me when to call to schedule for surgery. And when the Schedule will be into. I was very pleased.

Dr. Holovacs is a fine gentleman and a fine doctor and he went through my situation totally with me from my MRI that I had. And he told me I did not need any surgery and I almost skipped out of the room that I was so happy. He told me to go to PT. and if any problems continued after Labor Day to get back with him. He was very thorough with me, but very simple in his explanations. He gave me reassurance, and he did a great job. I would also like to commend the resident orthopedic doctor that came in before Dr. Holovacs. He was also tremendous, and also discussed My MRI results with me in great.

If I could rate Dr. Holovacs and his team higher than a 10 I would. Dr. Holovacs and his team are top-notch, I have complete trust in them . I have recommended people and will continue to do so. I am always met with the knowledge of my current condition, my past visits, changes in my shoulder and what I will need moving forward. At this time he and his staff are working toward finding me the best date for my impending surgery.

Very good experience. I saw Dr Holovacs about 10 years ago, and he was the first Dr. I thought of when I injured my shoulder recently. The consultation with him and his assistant [redacted] was very informative. All my questions and concerns were addressed, not only with the physical part of it, but also with the effects of surgery to your personal life afterwards.

He was very professional. Everybody in the office was very professional. He explained everything, answers every question. I would highly recommend him to someone if they needed him.

He could not have been more caring, complete, clear. I cannot say enough good things about him. Even though Dr. Holovacs was very clear about the fact that since my shoulder is in the shape it is, there really isn't anything that he could not do. But he was very clear about that and very compassionate. And he also explained things in a way that I understood. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I really appreciate his spending the time and his compassion and his understanding.

The time with the doctor was limited but I did spend time with a resident. That was a surprise to me when the resident walked through the door and not the surgeon. My appointment was almost 90 minutes with perfunctory apology after I asked.

All my experiences here have been exemplary.
