I feel that this provider did not listen to all of my concerns 11 days post-op from surgery. I feel that he kind of just blew off my concerns, didn't show me any interest, or let me know that my concerns were validated.

With the Doctor I felt like it was a cookie cutter visit. Tapped on the computer for 5 min asked a few questions and off he sent me .Felt his approach took me by surprise as i've always had great experiences with my doctors at [redacted]

This was my first experience with pain management. I've been suffering from lower back pain due to arthritis for many years. My provider, Tennison Malcolm, was excellent. He made me feel comfortable. He gave me appropriate care, appropriate medication that was non-narcotic, which I did not want. And I have follow-up in a few weeks. and he made room on his schedule for me, though he was very busy and full.

[redacted] His condescension, lack of knowledge and refusal to treat us with respect was unprecedented. After my husband and I greeted him his response was to roll his eyes and say, "Let me get logged in first." He stayed on computer for ten minutes saying nothing. When he looked up he asked, "What's your medical history?" It's all in the computer I said. Then another ten minutes hurling my medical history at me. After 20 minutes of this I asked about the MRI. He said " all patients want to know about MRIs but they're not actually accurate.They're not true." [redacted]

Provider seems very competent which is most important to me.... however, his manner was very robotic....and he seemed tired and overworked. There was little eye contact... which was OK but I felt as though I was just a number.

I thought this provider was absolutely terrific.. I was impressed with him and felt very comfortable. He went over past issues with me and explained in detail options that could be viable down the road.

Seem to have a prescription drug plan predetermined even before seeing me

He was nice however seemed to be in a hurry, I don't blame him I blame the amount of people he has to attend to [redacted]

A delay in getting an appointment

Dr. Malcolm was fine. He was late, but it's not his fault. He was fine.

This was my first visit here at this facility. Everyone was very nice.

He wasn't the most talkative / friendly Doctor I have met at this practice.

Wow, I was really surprised how unfriendly Dr Malcom was. Even his body posture, leaning against the counter while he entered info into the system. Very little eye contact. Didn't appreciate him at all. He suggested that my [redacted] was the problem though the symptoms were not at all the same as my previous experience. Then said I'd need an MRI and a shot in 'the area.' [redacted]

Yes, I think that Dr. Malcolm's a pretty excellent clinician. I think he knows his career, he knows his field, he knows his information, he's knowledgeable. I think he's willing to sit with an amount of comforting patients for a client who feels that she's experienced a very different form of treatment than I think he's used to. But I think regardless of any particular events or appointments, I think Dr. Malcolm is a pretty great doctor. And thank you. Have a great day.

The doctor seemed bored and uninterested. [redacted]. At the end of the visit when I didn't agree to an injection, he seemed to mock me for not being "brave". He may be a very good physician, but he did not earn my confidence or trust.

The entire pain management team is incredible and I am very grateful for their care.

Every person I had to deal with was very professional. My only complaint is I was not a new patient but a returning one from a previous problem. All my medical records are on file in the patient gateway or Mass General records department. I was made to complete a new patient form duplicating everything that is on file. That is redundant!

No issue with the provider

Yeah, I just like to say Dr. Tennison was funny. He was patient. He listened to me. He was just a great guy overall. And he took the time to listen and help me out. And we'll see what goes from there. But yeah, I like him. He's a nice guy.

Dr. Malcolm was excellent. He had a thorough understanding of my issues before and went through my prognosis and some tests that we'll be doing in the future. I was very pleased with his performance.
