During my appointment, Dr. Iyer was late. Also, she talked so fast it was hard for me to understand her. [redacted] She also rolled her eyes when I mentioned her talking to another one of my doctors here at BWH since I have a complex medical condition. The eye roll was really rude and disrespectful since my condition is serious and my other doctor is happy to talk to her since I had already checked with them. Health issues don't exist in a silo and Dr. Iyer should be aware of this and be willing to consult with other doctors on complex medical conditions. [redacted]

She was very kind and listened to my concerns and issues. MY only ` issue` is that I am really against virtual appointments. I feel doctors should have actual eyes and hands on a patient if at all possible. Not having that experience feels wrong.

I've been seeing Dr Iyer for four years for help with menopause issues. She continues to be one of the smartest, most articulate, and kindest doctors I've ever had. Her ability to quickly grasp the full picture when dealing with complicated and chronic health issues is phenomenal. I am so relieved every time I speak with her, as she's able to synthesize information and make empathetic suggestions about my options. I am incredibly grateful to be a patient of hers, and feel comfortable knowing that she sees me as a real human being with valid concerns.

I spent almost a decade describing negative and unpleasant symptoms to multiple providers and almost of all of them did not take them seriously. During my first appointment with Dr. Iyer a couple years ago she immediately took me seriously, listened to what I had to say. She prescribed medication that improved my quality of life tremendously. I have recommended her (and the clinic) to many of my friends. I truly appreciate that she is provider that listens and takes women seriously.

Hi, Dr. Iyer has been my physician for, I think, I'd like to say just over two years and I was suffering a lot from menopause symptoms and she is so educated on the research, on all the knowledge, all the medications. She made me feel so cared for and I haven't felt so good in so many years. So I'm so grateful to Dr. Iyer and I wish there were many more menopause specialists because I do recommend so many of my friends and Dr. Iyer is only one person. So thank you very much.
