Susan Ehrenthal is second to none

Dr. Ehrenthal is concerned, compassionate and takes action to resolve my husband's health issues. She has done more to improve his health than all other doctors combined.

Dr. Ehrenthal was friendly and concerned about helping me find pain relief.

I saw Dr. Susan Ehrenthal. I can't say enough about how helpful, kind, responsive and knowledgeable she is. I was referred to her by my primary care nurse practitioner, but I would have asked for her anyway, because she also treats one of my closest friends, who adores her. I've also suggested her to several of my friends.

I am [redacted] yo and have lived an active healthy life. I started experiencing severe pain in my right hip and sought help through neurosurgeons who recommended a very serious and complicated surgery. I sought out Dr. Erhenthal to help provide a second opinion on possible ways to help without the invasive surgery that had been recommended. After spending a long time talking with me and explaining my MRI and xray results, she could see the issues and recommended I seek another opinion from a neurosurgeon and coached me on how to talk with them. I left feeling like I was back to square one, but much more educated on how to move forward. The next day Dr. Ehrenthal called to tell me she had discussed my case with others and recommended some ideas to help pin point my problem and had already requested the test. Her phone call made my day. She acted as a true advocate for me. Unfortunately that's not what I've come to expect from modern healthcare. Dr. Ehrenthal is an amazing physician and Spaulding Rehab is extremely fortunate to have her on staff.

The Doctor is very thorough and very attentive

Dr. Ehrenthal was fabulous. She convinced me to go the route of physical therapy. I would have preferred acupuncture, but it seems she is the only acupuncturist in the area and just doesn't have enough hours in the day.

I saw Dr. Ehrenthal years ago when first diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2001-2002. She recommended a program at Spaulding rehab in Sandwich as I lived and worked on the Cape at the time. I still talk about this program today. It helped in so many aspects of understanding and caring for yourself in a whole new way which is an absolute necessity as you have no idea what is happening to you with the onset of fibromyalgia. I still use these tools today! I have had back issues for a few years and that is what brought me back to see her. When no one else has answers, she does. She explained my x-ray results and we have a plan of action over the next three months for injections that could make a huge difference in my day to day life. I cannot rave enough about her and Spaulding rehabilitation!

Dr. Ehrenthal explained her diagnosis of the swelling on my knee and I was very happy to learn that it was a very treatable condition.

Dr. Ehrenthal was extremely knowledgeable about my condition and explained why I was having the pain in my back and upper leg. She made certain that the shot she gave me was in the exact spot needed and it didn't even hurt as much as usual. She is very caring also.

I couldn't wait for this appointment because I thought this provider would be the one that would really help me with my issues and pull everything together. Instead I was rushed and asked to leave so she could move onto her next client. She opened the door for me to step out. Dr. Ehrenthal believes that this will heal in time, my injury, and there's nothing more to be done except PT and maybe ice or heat, but I am still in very, very severe pain, not constantly, but enough to make things pretty miserable. That's all.
