My experience with my new health care provider was great. She listened. She took the time to explain things to me. She took the time to want to know exactly my issues and she was very helpful and very caring.

Dr. Mascia, is very attentive. She listens and explains things so I can understand them. Takes the time we need to get answers.

Dr. Masia is friendly, open, intelligent, and very responsive. She really invites me to talk about my experience genuinely. She responds to me as an intelligent person, and she gives me the path forward. I always leave my sessions with her feeling like the next step is well planned out and that I was well listened to and felt completely safe in her presence.

I felt that my provider had one foot out of the door before she came in. She did not listen to me with any kind of grace, compassion, or empathy. I felt as if I was annoying her with my responses. And I felt dismissed. I felt that my concerns were dismissed by the provider.

Dr. S. Marcia is the kindest provider with sound bedside manners. She is polite, warm, and takes time to answer all questions and concerns. She is worth gold as kindness and warmth cannot be taught. 10/10

People with not being able to hear clearly are at a disadvantage. My husband is with me,but the conversation goes quickly and I'd really like to tell someone the problem,that I experience. It's no one's fault, it just really needs to be addressed. Dr. Mascia was very good, I just couldnt hear a word she said and the conversation went by quickly. Talking in person face to face, without a mask to someone would be a better way to explain this problem that I'm experiencing. Sorry for the lengthy answer. I'm sure I'm not the only person with this problem. Thanks to whoever reads this and works on the problem.

I became a patient of Dr. Mascia a couple years ago and have been very happy with her care and her demeanor while providing it.

After having Dr. [redacted] as my PCP for over 20 years I was a bit concerned about any doctor providing the same exceptional, thoughtful, professional, caring and excellent care as Dr. [redacted]. I am so pleased that Dr. Mascia seems to be the same caliber doctor as Dr. [redacted]-the highest praise possible.

This was not my primary care doctor.She had a cancellation,so I was able to see her.She was very pleasant and listened to my concerns.I felt reassured when I left the office.

Good experience overall

I was impressed with Dr. Mascia's concerns regarding my mental health. She showed genuine empathy when I told her that my husband had passed away a couple of months ago. I let her know that I considered setting-up an appointment with her just after the funeral service to find out how I was doing, but got overwhelmed with paperwork [redacted] and did not set-up that appointment. She said she would have welcomed the opportunity to talk, or meet with me, because everyone handles death differently. I appreciated hearing her say that she is there for her patients when they need her help.

Dr. Mascia is a doctor that gives me complete trust in her opinion and medical knowledge. She is a gem. She listens intently and takes serious consideration of what I had to say. She goes above and beyond what I would consider an excellent doctor.

I was really thrilled to confirm her as my PCP. I've been going to brigham for years and this was the first visit in a while where I felt like I was really listened to, that the annual viist was thorough, and we had a holistic plan to address/improve my health. I left the visit feeling really seen and optimistic. And though I've received some not so positive news I feel really confident that I have a doctor that I can trust to help me navigate, refer to specialists etc. Also so so so nice to have a woman of color as my PCP!

Dr. Mascia is able to understand the medical needs and social emotional needs of an older female adult (I am [redacted] years old). Dr. Mascia has great knowledge of preventative medicine to help maintain good health and she provides recommendations for improvement. The physical examination covered all aspects of my health. I was glad to see a doctor as my PCP was not available. Dr. Mascia was fine and ordered an X-ray to check the area where I was hurt. I never received the results of the X-ray on Patient Gateway but Dr. Mascia did call a few days later with the results.

This is the first provider besides my last that has listened and I felt understood me. It felt so good to finally see someone of my race. I truly thank you Mascia for support of my many medical ailments.
