Yeah, this is my first meeting with Dr. Danik after having switched from previous EP. He spent a significant effort reviewing my case before I met him and understood where things stood. So I was happy to have him as my new doctor.

He made a referal to a cardiology clinic at NW Hospital with a possible procedure. I am waiting for that new clinic to reach out to me (to complete the loop).

My first contact with Dr. Stephan Danik was 15 years ago when he treated me for a rather complex condition. The outcome was stunningly successful. I've seen Dr. Danik from time to time since then as my cardiac situation progresses, and I always find those sessions most valuable as was the most recent visit. Dr. Danik is the kind of physician that has built the reputation that Mass General enjoys today.

Dr. Danik is obviously knowledgeable about the electrophysiology department. I believe that's his head of it and was pretty clear about explaining things to me, although I didn't have that many questions. I appreciated that he had worked with electrophysiology tech beforehand in shifting my settings and also the integration of the electrophysiology department that he had, I think is quite good. I had a tech working with me who was communicating with a nurse practitioner who was experienced and also Dr. Danik. So I was impressed with that. Thank you.

Dr Danik was thorough and had knowledge of my previous medical history. He spent time explaining the procedure. He made me feel comfortable.I appreciated his knowledge and the extra step of ordering one more test just to be sure before proceeding.

I just thought I would mention that everyone was generally in a very good mood which makes the experience a very good one! I always feel that I am in expert hands at MGH and yet again I had this same sort of reassurance when I saw my provider...

Dr. Danik has been very responsive to my medical needs/concerns-offering his expertise on possible solutions in ways that were very understandable to a lay person. He implanted my pacemaker successfully and now will try to assist with my permanent Afib issues.

Dr. Danik was very good with patient interaction and I just felt confident with him. That's very important as far as my heart goes.

My visit is an annual pacemaker checkup. I've had two of them, both appointments since I've had the pacemaker implanted. Both times I've gone, visits have been really good, very respectful, lots of information, answer my questions and with what I've had. The second time around I had more questions than the first, with more understanding and really appreciate the knowledge.

Had reviewed my chart before appt. Knowledgeable about my case. Thoroughly explained my condition and options for treatment. Made a point to stop and ask if I had questions or concerns. Listened!!

the experience was fine but i didnt understand what took so long to do it. ive had them before and it only took about 20 minutes this time over an hour. they tried to explain but i didnt understand what she was saying. she said she couldnt see my heart. i know its my own experience that was to blame since this is the best hospital on the planet.
