Stacy P Engel, MD

Dr. Engel has been my doctor through some dark days and now that we're into the light, she has been patient with me. She has even tolerated some of my behavior that was not so kind. She's very, very invested in her patients, in me. Let me just say that in me. And I'm sure the same investment with other patients. She's truly a gem at Mass General Hospital. I'm grateful to have Dr. Engel as my doctor and a person that I could honestly and genuinely speak to. And she listens. She's not talking while I'm listening, why she's not talking while I'm talking. She's actively listening. And to me, that means a lot. And she has patience with me.

Dr Engel is the best: the kind of doctor everyone deserves to have. She has made suggestions that have impacted my life such as using a pill box, wearing a medical alert bracelet and Apple watch. I love her!

Dr Engel demonstrated caring and concern when seeing me. My blood pressure was a little high and Dr Engel showed some concern. It's something that I'm going to follow up with her in 6 weeks via a virtual appointment.

I have been with Stacey Engel, I think, two years. Always right there, always listening, writing things down, asking questions of me, you know, and things, and I just admire that taking the time because we all know they're all very busy. But I've always stuck by her and want to be with her as often as I can. She's always ready to help.

My care provider is wonderful

Getting the paperwork about my Physical is hard to get to my boss so I can work as a teacher Because I don't have gateway and staff has a hard time sending me info about putting everything to gateway.even though I need to talk to the nurses and administrators about all of it. people have got use to the internet which I'm not.

On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give Dr . Engel a 10+. She is an outstanding doctor and genuinely cares about her patients. I would highly recommend her to Mass General patients.

Extremely smart and caring

Dr. Engel is always on top of the tests and shots that I need and always addresses the concerns I have. She thinks ahead for the patient and looks into the medical records to see what else she can do to help the patient remain healthy and what appropriate appointments and tests and treatments are needed in the future. She is truly a very thoughtful and knowledgeable and kind PCP. I feel very well taken care of and cared for by her and the staff in her office.

It was a pleasure to speak and see Dr. Engel [redacted] she is such a great listener. She's been my doctor since I was like 19 or 20. I'm now [redacted] years old. She's patient with me. She goes through all my medications, my blood work. She puts in for blood work if I need it. It is a blessing. I am blessed to have her in my life still. And I'm just grateful that she's still with MGH, [redacted] I thank you guys once again for reaching out to hear my comments and how I feel about Dr. Engel and her professionalism.

Initially, the purpose of my visit - which was to have an in-depth conversation about a recent cancer diagnosis and to plan to optimize the outcomes, was not readily understood. Eventually, Dr E was very able to hear and respond to my questions. She went above and beyond to respond to all that she could and provided helpful insights and needed information. She is a very conscientious and knowledgeable provider.

My experience with Dr. Stacy Engel has been awesome. She's been my primary care physician for, I believe, well over a decade. I think it's about a decade or more. She has been my primary care provider for that long for a reason. I have found no one else that cares the way she does, listens the way she does, and actually knows my health information. I commend her for all that she does and having to be a human at the same time. have her own personal life and still involve herself in my medical care.

My PCP listens carefully to what I need to tell her about my health. With her, I feel safe and well cared for.

I have been seeing Dr Engel for many years. She is very professional and capable and easy to approach. My only concern was that the time constraints for the length of a visit really get in the way of a thoughtful discussion. She has to get through her exams so there isn't enough time to discuss other issues as meaningfully as I would like. The topics for a PCP are so much broader than for a specialist -- there should be more time for a PCP

I feel fortunate to be with this very intelligent,caring primary care doctor all these years. Sadly there is a shortage in that field. Too many people I know are trying to find someone like her to help them stay healthy in their "golden" years.

She is very thorough and knowledgeable. She makes the visit comfortable and I feel that I am well taken care of.
