Dr. Helfgott helped with a diagnosis of my swolllen foot and leg that no other medical professional was able to do. I had a fall in [redacted] flat on my back. Over these past 6 months I've had 3 sets of X-rays and no one has given me a clear explanation of why my foot has stayed swollen. Dr. Helfgott said it was not arthritis but possibly CRPS. Finally I am able to proceed with PT and a physiatrist. Thank you Dr. Helfgott!

I think Dr. Helfgot is efficient, informed, and he's easy to deal with, easy to understand. Happy to be his patient.

Well, my appointment usually goes smoothly there. This time my appointment was 11. I arrived at 11. I was, you know, greeted. I was told to go to the end of the hall and wait. I waited an hour before I saw the doctor. Apparently, his assistant or receptionist went to work at the front desk and people forgot about me. So I had to wait an hour for my appointment, which is usually not the case. Usually everything just goes fine, but the last time waiting an hour was not fun. There was nobody to ask. Nobody to ask.

Dr. Helfgott is an outstanding physician who is unusually both brilliant and compassionate. I appreciate his positive outlook, while discussing a sometimes trying subject matter.

Dr. Helfgot is always excellent. He gets back to me, he sees me, he's saved my life many, many years ago and I will always recommend him as a 10.

My questions are never answered thoroughly and the provider does not address my concerns. I don't ever understand what I should be looking out for or concerned about as far as My symptoms are concerned.

He is very nice and kind. I like him a lot but am frustrated that there are so few treatments for my condition that wouldn't just disable me. I know that's not his fault but it's hard to go to who I assume is a top of the field provider for almost no treatment options

Great physician

Dr Helfgott has been my provider for over 20 years. We have built a great rapport in that time. I appreciate that he has followed my medical history closely, stays connected with my other providers and discusses exciting new therapies (CAR-T, obinutuzumab) and their potential for my treatment. He has listened to my issues following my stroke and has supported me in greater additional care from Spaulding to improve my quality of life. He has always ben realistic, yet positive, about my condition and I dread the day he retires!!
