Shuhan Zhu, MD

Dr. Zhu is absolutely wonderful. I've been seeing her now for about two years and she's completely changed my migraines. I no longer get the intensity that I used to get or the frequency. So I would highly recommend her to any friends and family and they have seen a huge difference. just blows me away with her intelligence about health and is very easy to talk with and asks the right questions. So I wish I had seen her sooner for my migraines. Thank you.

Dr Zhu is a phenomenal provider. I am so grateful to have her as my neurologist. She is top notch! She thinks outside of the box and has devoted her expertise to helping me find relief with my condition. I am very lucky to have her as my provider. She understands what works for me and what doesn't and has been the only provider thus far to provide me with any relief.

Dr. Zhu is one of the best communicators, with the most expertise I have ever seen. She asked me questions that no other doctor ever has and really knows how to listen deeply and with empathy. She is wonderful at educating patients on very complex conditions. Very grateful for her!

[redacted] there was no time during the appointment for me to have input. The provider spoke so quickly I could not retain all that was said. [redacted] The provider put her hand up several times when I wanted to add or elaborate on something. I felt like I needed to be concerned with her needs more than mine. [redacted] I felt she was frustrated with my resistance to go on certain medications that cause weight gain, and felt there was a bit of attitude in her regarding that. I feel it is extremely important to be treated as part of the team when it comes to my care. I am very involved with self healing strategies, cognitively and through physical therapy.

Seeing my provider that i didn't know before and i thought she would be amazing, but in reality i wish i had never gone she didn't hear me out at all and when it came to the end someone had knocked and me medicine wasn't going through and instead of making sure she was worried about who knocked and rushed us out! I also didn't like the fact she made my father sit down and sit right infront of her as she demanded! I felt like i wasn't heard [redacted]

Dr. Zhu was incredibly knowledgeable and smart. I think the only thing that could have been better for me was for her to be willing to hear some of my experience that wasn't totally on point maybe or directly related to what she wanted but I felt was relevant information and she cut me off several times from doing that.

she definitely used her expertise to start the process to diagnose me. and she was able to schedule my MRI's.

The doctor seemed to want to be somewhere else. I was not able to complete most sentences. I felt unheard and disrespected. I was made to feel as if I was bothering the doctor. The meeting took around ten minutes.

I felt so lucky to see Dr. Zhu. She was personable. She was articulate. She was smart. She was thoughtful in her responses. She was very thorough in the medication follow-up. She was interested in who I was as a person and as a patient. She knows that I have been on a weight loss journey, and she was very interested in that without being judgmental. I couldn't say enough about her, both as a physician and as a human being. She was really wonderful, and so was her staff, and it was a great opportunity. You're very lucky to have her and anyone who is her patient is extremely lucky to be under her care, myself included.

I felt she was very knowledgeable, very busy and spoke quickly. She set up other appointments for me MRI brain and a brain ultrasound.

I felt that the focus was on getting thru her list of questions on patterns and history of migraines. I felt some frustrations from her when I could not provide exact data she was looking for. I did not feel that there was time spent discussing different options, different alternatives and very little engaged discussion. [redacted]

The provider did not want to listen to me regarding what I am going through at home and my past history with my health and providers. She comment, we need to look ahead. I agree; however, you cannot move forward without reviewing the past errors!

Dr. Zhu is no nonsense which can come across as abrupt, but I believe she just wants to use the limited time effectively and give you the best treatment she can. As I have been in her care, I've found her to be very responsive and thoughtful and as said, really trying her best to use the time and work with me to improve my situation.

Doctor Zhu is excellent! She is very wise and has always taken great care of my medical case. I would recommend her 100%! She is a great doctor.

Dr. Zhu seems to be exceptionally bright and invested in her specialty. She was aggressively interested in getting to the bottom of what may be causing my chronic cough headache - a hopeful feeling from the patient's perspective.

The doctor it was with me in and out and the questions I had she barely answer to them and she didn't even listen to me what I had to say and in some of the question, she said I'm not sure what you mean her attitude this morning was really bad with me She should be nicer to the patient because I don't spend an hour to come there for pleasure but if I have a problem and I need some answers if they can, [redacted].

Dr. Zhu gave me a much bigger understanding of my medical situation and possible ways of treating pain. She listened and probed for details and then set out options for treatment for me to discuss with her and ask any questions about. I am so grateful to Dr. Zhu - she helped me a great deal and made me believe my pain can be treated and alleviated.

Hello - Dr. Zhu was wonderful. She explained what was happening with my headaches in a way that I understood. She was professional, polite, and had a good sense of humor.
