Dr. Chen is the best. She is always nice, very caring, and very helpful. I have seen her for over 15 years. My mother saw her, my brother in law and his father, and 2 family friends have also seen her. Everyone loves her.

Her staff is excellent However, I have a real beef with the MEEI- the fact that you closed the optical shop is inexcusable for a world class eye hospital not to have an optical shop. Commercial optical shops cannot and I repeat cannot provide the expertise for complex eye glass prescriptions that the MEEI optical shop. This is a real problem

Given that I have a new diagnosis, I would have appreciated being given more information about it and given tips on how I can contribute to slowing the progression of the disease. I needed more information about the test that I "failed" and what that failure meant. It is difficult for me to hear that I have this diagnosis of glaucoma and difficult for me to think about what the implications are. I don't know what "stage" we are in or the usual speed of progression. Rather than waiting for me to ask I questions, I needed the provider to be more proactive in giving me information.

I've been seeing Dr. Sherleen Chen for many years and have referred her to my family and friends. I think she is absolutely the best in her field. I respect her opinion and can't say enough good things about her.

[redacted] The doctor was extremely rushed, jumping from room to room. She advised that I need surgery, but I had no opportunity to analyze the information thrown at me and ask follow up questions. I requested to speak with the doctor after a pre-op test that was performed, and she met with me, but she seemed slightly annoyed with me. She didn't invite me to sit down to talk. The door of the office was open with one of the patients passing back and forth, clearly waiting for her turn. I waited to see this highly rated doctor for 6 months, and all I got was 15 min of her time. I am very disappointed.

The doctor is great. She has so many patients She doesn't get to spend much time with you.
