Sheila Bond is an associate physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as well as a consulting physician at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She holds the appointment of part-time Instructor at the Harvard Medical School. She received her medical school training at the Northwestern University, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases in a combined program at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital as well as additional training in the care of solid-organ transplant and hematopoietic cell transplant recipients at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Bond is board certified in Infectious Diseases. Her research interests include infections in the immunocompromised host (particularly Epstein-Barr virus infections) and community-acquired pneumonia. Her academic interests include medical education and clinical decision-making.
