Dr. Wander is a caring professional. He always asks questions about how I'm doing and takes into account my other health conditions as to my overall health.

I have worked with Dr. Wander since 2021 and he is dedicated to enabling me to live as fully a life as possible with metastatic breast cancer. On his recommendation, I was involved in 2 clinical trials at MA General and I appreciated the team's surveillance. He makes himself reachable and with certainty, he answers my Portal questions or phone calls in a timely manner. He knows me, my medical history and my health intentions for the future. He is organized in my appointments; he gathers information (side effects, new medicines, listens to my living experiences between appointments), he sets up any tests, scans or referrals and when asked, will share the new treatment strategies and medicines from his research or other clinical trials. He actively engages my husband and HCP, answering questions from both of us. One of Dr. Wander's strengths is that he treats me and my disease as individual and unique, with no assumptions and communicates with other providers to ensure I have consistent care and follow-up. I really appreciate his "smarts" and dedication to confronting my cancer disease's twists and turns.

It's a pleasure having Dr Wander as my doctor. I wouldn't change him for any other doctor.
