My experience was excellent. The provider was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my concerns. I felt heard and respected, and all my questions were answered thoroughly.

Unfortunately the medical assistant that obtained my vitals and reviewed my meds was NOT very welcoming. Not a positive "first contact" for me when being at a new office with a new provider. I hope this is not the norm and possibly the assistant wasn't having a good day.

He was very attentive, asked questions of me to clarify what my symptoms were and gave me suggestions for how to manage my symptoms.

I only once.. The provider wants me to meet him in person, which I'll do. I'll know more after we meet.

We should be able to go back and change earlier responses because I thought I understood the scale and I wasn't listening to the options. And then I realized the scale had changed and my responses were wrong and I couldn't go back to fix them. So I didn't have any problems with this provider. I thought they were very attentive. It was a very good experience.

I went in and he knew about my MRIs that I had through a different doctor and he had read up on them and that surprised me because I was going in there for migraines and it pleased me and it made me feel that important.

Yes, my visit with Dr. Martinez-Ramirez was extremely productive. It included information that I wasn't anxious to hear, but it was delivered in a very succinct and pleasant way and no surprises. Very, very right on. I mean, I think that, I think he has a very good way of taking what isn't the greatest news and telling it in a way that is not discouraging, but a positive spin on things,

He is a very good neurologist

She was excellent. Impressed she was aware of much of my extensive medical history.

The medical assistant used few words to communicate, for instance for blood pressure held her arm to demonstrate. She asked if I had had any allergic reactions since last visit. Yes, a rare reaction. I verbalized. She had difficulty locating this on pull down menu on computer. I offered to spell the word if she was unfamiliar. I was abruptly told to go to the waiting room. I indicated she had not completed logging that info. I was told again to go to the waiting room. She said she would complete my record when I left. As a nurse, I have never heard of such a thing. The provider asked if I had had a problem with the medical assistant. Evidently she spoke to him. He showed me the word she recorded. Toxic pruritis. I did not say this. I did not have toxic itching. I had Toxic Pleuritis, inflammation of lungs with ground glass infiltrates bilaterally still not resolved. BIG difference. My philosophy as a provider: if you do not know, educate yourself. Do not record inaccurate info that could further compromise the patient's wellbeing. I offered to spell something that would not be on a list of common allergic responses, when she typed toxic three times without success. I am able to advocate for myself. What about the patient who cannot? She was unfriendly and unkind.

I had a very good experience with this provider, but truly dislike these surveys which brings an artificial quality to the visits. The only survey I regularly do is Apple's because it is so well done and short and because they do provide excellent customer service.

He's one of the best doctors I've ever had, and I greatly appreciate his care & professionalism.

Hopefully he is right and I will recover but so far my symptoms getting worse and no treatment available .... Not even suggestion what might be helpful

Dr. Martinez was, he well read my history and understood its mysterious enigma about my dizziness and said it didn't fall into categories that they could describe and I'm going to have to live with this. And it was definitive and helped me understand that all of my years of treatment have not been conclusive and it isn't now either, but he was honest about that and I appreciate that, that they don't have any categorical diagnosis. So I appreciated his frankness. Thank you.

I thought the doctor was thorough and took a different view of my issues.he explained many issues I have had and was able to dispell some of my confusion.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Ramirez and although I had a very long wait to get an appointment to see him.. the wait was well worth it. He is clearly an expert in his field ! Dr. Ramirez was well prepared to speak to me, having reviewed my somewhat complicated medical history, tests, etc. He was patient, a good listener, comfortable to talk with, and gave me a very thorough exam to address my issues. He ordered additional testing to be sure we covered all the bases, gave me his initial diagnosis and recommendations, and explained that now that I was one of his patients... I should feel free to request a " follow up" visit with him at any time and that, that appointment, would be given to me in a more timely way. Excellent doctor !
