Excellent care

The care was excellent and the Doctor was excellent and listened to me and let me know if I needed anything to call his office.

As always, Dr Unizony is a wonderful Dr who knows my condition very well, and he's doing everything he can to make me well again. He even came out to greet me at the reception area to walk me to his office. He's the best Dr. I've ever had.

I'm very glad that he was knowledgeable of my autoimmune disorder, that he took into consideration my medication. The staff was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. But overall, he is the first doctor in a year and a half that I feel has heard me and understood what I had to say and made me feel validated.

Dr. Unizony has been my rheumatologist for seven years, I believe, and he has been nothing but a dream for me and somebody I can count on.

He didn't spend a lot of time with me. Minimal examination of my affected hand and arm and discussion of how I have felt since last seeing him. The appointment just felt rushed. He felt I should be on Humira but didn't discuss side effects etc.

He's amazing, his schedule is so full it's difficult to get an appointment. Wouldn't think of seeing another doctor though.

It was my first time being seen by Dr. Unizony. I was referred to him by my Airway/Voice specialist at MGH, [redacted]. Dr. U. was prompt, pleasant, asked good questions and got right to the point of why I was there. He had reviewed my tests and gave me important feedback putting my mind to rest. [redacted] I was in good hands!

Been seeing Dr Unizony for over 10 yrs with very complicated medical issues. He always stays current with my non rheum issues and thoughtfully incorporates the consequences and conflicts into our treatment plans. I feel well informed and involved in our decisions. Dr unizony is quite sharp and pleasant!

Dr Unizony is one of the best I've ever dealt with. He is genuinely concerned with my situation and has worked very closely with my wife and me in attempting to diagnose and treat a very complicated set of illnesses. He works closely with us to make sure we understand the pluses and minuses of my new treatment plan.

In addition to a thorough explanation and discussion of test results, symptoms, medications, and treatment plans for the giant cell arteritis for which he has been managing my excellent care for the past six years, Dr. Unizony took the time to inquire about my overall health and well-being, both physical and mental. That included quickly examining and diagnosing what proved to be an orthopedic problem that had been concerning me - often painful Dupuytren's contracture.

I felt that the doctor was too brief for my visit. He never examined any part of my body. I explained that I needed a prescription re-fill. I started to tell him where I needed him to send the refill, but he abruptly ended my visit telling me to make another appointment in six months. It takes 2 hours driving each way - I felt that my appointment was rushed and not reassuring. Had I known the appointment would be so brief with no examination, I should have made my disappointment more clear.

Good listener Very professional

Dr Unizony is wonderful, personable and remembers me. [redacted] Also, my rating of him goes back to when he identified through research what turned out to be, for me, a cure for my temporal arteritis that got me off steroids. Now I see him just for arthritis and I think this is not his specialty or interest. Still, he is helpful, and I like him.

Dr Unizony is the best. He knows me, my history, remembers my issues. He is friendly and professional. I've been seeing him for 11 years, wouldn't see anyone else. Plus, a sense of humor!
