This was my first visit with Dr. Dacus. In addition to my symptoms I provided a lot of background medical information that I felt was necessary for him to get a good picture of my recent medical issues. Because he didn't know me, I sensed some frustration on his part because of all the information I felt was important for him to know. However, he was professional and provided me with several paths to getting a diagnosis. He also ordered several blood tests, one of which could be crucial in providing a diagnosis, and I was impressed with his calling me after hours to discuss the lab results, providing me with a degree of optimism.

I would say the doctor showed a good degree of patience when the appt started running longer than expected on a day he was already behind. I was having lots of "new" issues which caused this extension. I was certainly self-absorbed and feeling somewhat panicky. Kudos to the doctor!

Dr Dacus always takes the time I need to understand what I need to know. No matter how many times I may ask he is always there to explain to me so I can understand and if it takes longer he always takes the time without making me feel like an idiot Dr Dacus knows me by my name and not just a number he seems to actually care how I feel and always takes the time I need I would not want another primary. I am happy with the service he gives to me.

Yes, I had used Dr. Dacus. This was my third appointment. Overall, he's good, but this was a concern about refilling or getting a prescription that I used to get from a previous doctor and didn't really want to see, hear how it had worked before, but I do understand some of his concerns. I just don't feel like he did not really lose his temper, but he was upset that I was talking over him or something. you know, I can deal with that to a point, but I don't necessarily think it's the most professional thing to do. And, um, I'm hoping, you know, going forward that it'll be a better relationship.
