I was impressed by the doctor's experience before I arrived, and more impressed after meeting with him for the first time. The difference between my experience at Mass General Brigham Eye and Ear this year, and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston last year, was like day and night. Mine is a very complicated case, so I'm looking forward to working with the Eye specialists at Mass General Brigham Eye and Ear.

I've been seeing Dr Greenstein for many years..always on top of things I know that I'm getting the best of care!

I'm a physician and as a patient, I've had eye and ENT care at BWH, MGH and MEEI. My favorite overall, by far, is MEEI for the efficiency, professionalism and overall experience as a patient. They are busy but still have time to spend time with patients, as opposed to BWH surgeons are always rushed due to the unreasonably packed clinic schedules they're subjected to, which negatively affects the experience for patients.

He explained to me about my eyes being dry and needed drops. No one had toldme that brfore.

The office is great. The doctor is great. My only note is that I have seen him twice and each time had very long waits after my initial evaluation with the nurse/technician (not sure of their status). But I definitely want to continue to see him as my physician.

Dr. Greenstein had a tendency to downplay my concerns and I found this dismissive. I spent 4 months waiting for this appointment, and felt that he didn't think it was necessary to see me. For example, I had been complaining of left eye pain and swelling for quite some time, and his answer was that he doesn't see a reason for it and therefore it's all normal. This was my 1st time seeing this provider. He was nice. He was considerate. He apologized for being so late. He explained things in medical terms I did not understand. That made me feel inadequate, and I felt I left not understanding some of my issues. [redacted]

Thanks to this tardy patient who was delayed by construction and traffic, I found the Dr. understanding, and ready to hear about a visual problem that I had experienced nearly a month before, and that too was delayed by blizzards. Not his fault, but the pressure of a busy schedule left me with unanswered questions about my upcoming surgery that I had to go home and google my answers .
