Dr. Martin did a great job repairing my rotator cuff. The use of a pain pump really helped to prevent the pain I anticipated. He was always kind, respectful and patient with my questions.

This was a long-term follow-up initiated by me to get some advice about how to deal with the effects of my own aging on the surgical prosthesis. As such there wasn't much to be learned but I did get what I had hoped I would. Had a pleasant chat about some experiences from times past and got the reassurances I needed to hear and a prescription for some PT to help me deal with my diminished range of motion.

The Physicians assistant reviewed and knew my medical history and concerns before our visit started and did not have to spend time on the computer rather than with me. Examined my range of motion that was affected from surgery. Discussed my concerns and was very helpful with describing the surgery I had, the healing process and suggestions for activities moving forward. The Doctor, while very busy, was very pleasant and took the time with me to exam me, address my concerns and gave me suggestions for continued healing moving forward. And assured me if I had any other needs or concerns in the future the team was available to me.

Very satisfied. Extremely happy to get an appointment so quickly and to have surgery arranged in a very timely fashion.

I was saddened to learn that the procedure that I need is no longer done by Dr. MARTIN. So I went to see him thinking that I would maybe get a scope for my labral tear in my hip, but turns out I need a hip replacement and I was told that he is not allowed to do hip replacements. So that was pretty upsetting that for my second opinion, I found a doctor who cannot do my procedure, so now I need to find a third doctor. So it just felt like a complete waste of my time.

Could not have been happier with the experience. Explained everything I needed to know in clear detail and answered all of my questions and concerns.

The physician was not available for assessment immediately, but I got prompt assistance, initial assessment, and follow-up exam request by a physician assistant in his team. When the exams return, I was reached and informed of next steps, and I saw the physician within one week, with a clear understanding of my case. His team was aware and helpful in the whole process, and it was all done in a surprising timely fashion. All my questions and concerns were promptly and clearly addressed, and honest scenarios pictured to me and I felt I was in charge on the decision of how we should proceed with my medical care. In this difficult and vulnerable situation, I enjoyed the process and felt confident with the treatment and possible outcomes.

I've been a patient of Dr. Martin's for over 20+ years . He has always addressed my concerns and cares with respect and concern. I've always been seen in a timely manner and have always gotten great results with every visit that I've ever had with him and his staff.

He is absolutely the best! I went to see him about my knee and after over 2 years of pain due to another injury he made a quick diagnosis that it was my back. He is absolutely the best in his field not just because of this diagnosis, but how he fixed my opposite knee in [redacted] when it was locked and fused together because of R/A. [redacted] Trust me when I tell you if you get him as a doctor you're very lucky. Guy basically saved me. Just remember after surgery it's up to you to push yourself as hard as possible in P.T. Once again this guy has saved me.

Dr Martin is very attentive. I was happy to see both the PA and Dr Martin on the same day thus cutting down the number of days I needed to take off from work.

Seems like an amazing team, having gone through various other orthopedic surgery groups in the past, can say that this team was amazingly efficient without compromising the patient experience.

A total pro. Listened had compassion had time for me reguardless of other non emergency care. Nurses were great and you could tell he had a specific field of expertise. He was a team player and respected other opinions and possibilities without dismissal. He eased my worries and i left w confidence knowing i was in great care by Dr Martin

Hi, I had an excellent, informative, very good exam by a doctor. Probably the best exam I've ever had by an orthopedist.

I felt like a widget on an assembly line. He did not acknowledge that he was running late when he came in and when I shared my frustration, he basically brushed me off. When I made the appointment, I had two issues, a should and a knee issue for the MRI showed abnormalities. I was told to pick one and that the provider would address them both when I got there. He only addressed the one (the shoulder) and said I needed to have the studies for him to look at in order to address the second. All of this was in the Gateway and I let him know that I had printed the report if he wanted to look at it. He did not even examine my knee or acknowledge my comment. He said to make another appointment for follow up in 6 weeks for my shoulder and he would address the knee at that time as well. After waiting for over an hour, for this appointment, not even getting any acknowledgement, his response is unacceptable. I realize the issue is not acute, but I am a very active person, the MRI findings are concerning and I wanted advice so that I would not further exacerbate the injury. He told me other patients had come in with other issues which caused him to be late, so in essence he said that my concerns are not as important as those of the other patient so I have to pay the price for his giving the other patient more time.

Wonderful!!! finally found the problem that was causing pain and discomfort

Brilliant surgeon. Terrible beside manner. I always leave feeling dejected. I'm lectured rather than heard...constantly warned about what could go wrong vs celebrated for what I'm now able to do. Zero interest into how much thought and effort I put into preserving my health and the integrity of the surgical repair. Again, brilliant surgeon and I'm thankful for his work...I just wish I felt more supported and celebrated for the progress made.

I saw an MA who was great and a PA, [redacted], who was professional, knowledgeable and very nice Dr Martin is great. He knew exactly what my issue was and how to treat it.
