Sattar Khoshkhoo, MD, is a physician-scientist and the founding director of the Epilepsy Genetics Clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He completed his medical training at UCSF with a special focus on molecular medicine. He went on to complete his neurology residency training at the Mass General Brigham Neurology Residency Program (Formerly Partners Neurology) followed by epilepsy fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Khoshkhoo has clinical and research expertise in epilepsy genetics and the goals of his translational research program are to expedite the diagnosis of genetic epilepsies and the implementation of new targeted treatments for drug-resistant focal and generalized epilepsy
