Sarah Zimmerman is a pediatrician at MGH West in Waltham, MA. She was born and raised the the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. She attended both college and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated at the top of her class and was President of AOA. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Mass General for Children in 2008 and was honored with two teaching awards. Following residency, she moved back to North Carolina and joined the UNC Chapel Hill Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. In 2015, she moved to Hawaii and joined the Department of Pediatrics at the John A. Burns University of Hawaii School of Medicine. She returned to Boston in 2018 and is so happy to be back. She enjoys all aspects of primary care pediatrics, but some of her favorite areas are newborn medicine, dermatology, and sports medicine. Building long-term relationships with patients and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of her job. When not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and two sons, nature walks, photography and literature.

She is someone I can trust and come to for any concerns about both my children. She is someone I know will take my concerns in consideration and best of all takes her time to educate me and my children about different things.

Dr. Zimmerman is a wonderful pediatrician. She always listens to our concerns and is never in a hurry despite being extremely busy in the practice. She always asks my daughter important questions and takes the time to explain things. We feel really lucky to have her on our team.

This is one of the fantastic, excellent care providers. Not only me, my wife, myself, my daughter and my son, I've been going there. Both kids, like ever since they are born, they are with this facility. And I am here from past 10 years, same is with my wife. It is an excellent, excellent facility. We would like to continue and we would like to recommend this facility for others too.

Dr. Zimmerman is the best doctor we have had. She is kind, does not rush us, and treats my children very well. She takes the time to make everyone comfortable and feel heard. I trust her and know she always has my children's best interest in mind.

She checked my daughter thoroughly and explained me what she was thinking very clearly. My daughter loved her interaction so much and she keeps wanting to go back to see Dr. Zimmerman (although she is very healthy now).
