Dr. Sarah Ahmadi is on top of her game. That woman knows everything from A to Z. She contacts me on the gateway and gives me feedback on things that she's checking on, mostly blood work, and she's right on target writing me letters if she doesn't reach me. And when I went to that appointment, I asked for a note taker because sometimes she speaks very fast and I don't get all the notes down properly. So I didn't have anybody with me such that I could give my attention to her or be divided. I didn't want to be divided by writing notes. But anyway, they couldn't find anybody. And I understood that. I speak English. She does too. And this was fine. I brought in my notebook and she asked me to hand her the notebook and I did. And she then took the notebook.

First time in a long time i felt someone was looking at the whole picture not just one ailment. Made me feel relieved.

She listens and provides a comprehensive assessment and is very reassuring.

I didn't feel the interaction was particularly customized to me, respectful of my experience or questions, and did not make me feel comfortable that this doctor appreciated medical nuance or particularly individualized patient or symptom-driven care.

Dr. Ahmadi was very professional covered all of my questions before I could ask them. She even set expectations for test results and the front desk personnel were wonderful.

I had to go to blood lab. The receptionist was rude in asking for my information. The Phlebotomist was very knowledgeable, however, very rude and left without directing me how to exit the area. I was not impressed and mentioned it to my oncologist during my treatment visit. Would rate lab experience at a 1 and not recommend it to be used.

So I am very happy that I found Dr. Ahmadi as my care provider because she only sees patients with thyroid disease or thyroid cancer, specifically the kind of cancer that I have. So I'm very happy that I found a provider and she does everything herself, including the ultrasound. So I feel very safe. you know, going to a provider, you know, basically she's a master at what she does because this is all, you know, this is the only kind of patient that she sees. So I feel very happy that I found a provider who's an absolute specialist in what she does. Thank you.

I transferred to the Brigham after having a less than positive experience with a different endocrinologist. I felt SO seen and heard at my appointment with Dr. Ahmadi - she listened to all of my symptoms, explained very clearly what everything meant, and gave me a clear picture of what I can expect and what is unknown about my medical situation going forward. She also explained very clearly what all of the medications I am on do, why I'm taking them, and asked my opinion on how to proceed. I felt like an active part of my care for the first time since I started experiencing thyroid symptoms. I can't stress enough how refreshing and relieving it was to be taken seriously and treated with courtesy and respect. It has been very scary taking medications I don't fully understand and being treated in a hasty and rude manner at my previous doctor, so this was truly so appreciated and I feel so much safer and more confident than before.
