This was my first visit with Dr. Varma. I look forward to continuing to work with her regarding my health.

This was as good a first visit as I could have hoped for. I have a combination of chronic conditions ([redacted]) that often overwhelms providers. I wanted to get into the neuro-intestinal practice since all of the providers in this group were highly recommended to me by Dr. [redacted], who has been helping me with my dysautonomia. Dr. Varma has experience with patients like me, and it showed right away. We had an excellent conversation about how to start the diagnostic process, considering options that did and did not work for me, which is always so important. I really do look forward to working with Dr. Varma.

She listened carefully and her explanations were very easy to understand. She was thorough in addressing questions and prescribed an initial course of treatment and monitoring the the condition

Dr Varma is an excellent doctor and diagnostician. She listens and has broad knowledge. She is also very personable and charismatic. I am very glad to have her as my doctor.

She seems very intelligent but it was hard to get a word in. Lots of information in a short amount of time. I felt a little overwhelmed after the call and came to different treatment decisions after the call.

The doctor was incredibly honest, bright, considerate, and answered my questions and listened to my concerns

Dr Varma was wonderful. She diagnosed my problem which had previously been misdiagnosed for the past 8 years. And even better, it turns out that it's treatable.

Dr Varma is an extraordinary doctor. Her knowledge and her ability to communicate was outstanding. I was extremely confident in her ability and education her advice and counsel was so helpful. She is a treasure and Mass general is so lucky to have her as as attending.
