Dr. Thompson is an exceptional primary care provider. I've seen him for many years. He takes me seriously. He explains my options. He frames things in a way that helps me to make decisions about my care. He's very good at explaining the pros and cons of different screening tools and how to put things in perspective in terms of like where I am in my life and my age and what's worth me spending my time on to try to improve my health and where I can, I guess a better way to put it is where I can gain the most benefits like what to focus on and what are things to worry about and what are things not to worry about. We love love Dr Thompson for the last 16 years. His office staff has been most difficult to deal with, his staff has told me several times they would call me back on urgent matters and never has. There was at least one instance I asked to speak to the practice manager. As Dr Thompson has often said "Just page me when it's urgent ", I just hate to interrupt him, he is such a busy man. I am not an alarmist, but my husband has had quite a history
