Dr. Lohre seemed a bit rushed. I would encourage him or any MGH doctor to ensure patients feel relaxed and not rushed; no logging off the computer or sliding towards the door indicating they want to leave to ensure the patient feels comfortable to ask all their questions.

Exceptional patient care and support

[redacted] Dr. Lohre has been watching taking care of my right shoulder. He is really one of the most outstanding one. A physician explained to me how I should take care of myself, what I should look for and to get better, and what I should look out not to get worse, and what's my next course. And he encouraged me to continue to practice, gain strength, also have a rehab. He is really outstanding. And I really thank MGH for such a good doctor. Thank you so much.

Dr. Lohre was very professional. He looked at my x-rays and discussed my x-ray in relationship to my condition and made recommendations as to the next step. I was happy for his feedback. It's something that gave me a lot of food for thought and we made plans to move forward to improve my situation.

Dr. Lohre it's amazing and caring doctor. He explained the situation the good and the bad was such tact and diplomacy that it makes you want to hug him. This provider was highly recommended to me by another surgeon. He was so professional in his description of three different procedures. I could have. He made it very easy for my wife and I to come to the right decision which he agree with me. At that time, he went into further detail that once he opened my shoulder up and saw the damage that it might lead to another type of surgery altogether, I told him I had no problem at that time if it came to that. It was a pleasure meeting this Doctor and everyone in his practice. They were all so nice and so efficient.

I had a good experience with both Dr. Lohre and Dr. [redacted]. Dr. Lohre showed me on my imaging the location of my problem. He explained the potential risks and complications of surgery and answered any questions.

I was very pleased with the way he helped me understand what was going on with my shoulder. I was hoping that I wasn't going to need the surgery. I've been to a doctor in Tennessee who told me I needed the surgery Dr. Lohre agreed that he would recommend the surgery and he gave me a better understanding than the doctor in Tennessee.

I will always be thankful for Dr. Lohre. I guess I am the Oldest person that he did this particular shoulder surgery. I fell 3 months ago and I have had discomfort esp. tightness and limited discomfort. I will wait a few more weeks and hope that the injections will bring me relief.

I had an injury to my shoulder and Dr Lohre was the third shoulder surgeon that I saw. He was the only one that actually listened to me about my symptoms and was able to diagnose my problem. After over 2 years of pain, I was finally treated for the problem with a permanent solution. I did have a steroid injection that helped for a few weeks. I really appreciate that Dr Lohre did not dismiss my symptoms like the other two doctors did. I am looking forward to finally returning to work in the near future because of Dr Lohre

Good Dr, although, I feel that I don't get the whole picture of my condition.

I'm going ahead with shoulder surgery although I said I would never have surgery at MGH again after a bad experience in 2015 because of an infection -and permanent nerve damage-from a hip replacement surgery (trauma team). So I must have renewed faith because of Dr Lohre's excellent reputation.

Amazing visit - on time and very professional

Dr. Lohre answered my questions. He was very helpful. I asked him to give me not only the general answers to the questions, but also ways in which I could move my arm and help it to heal.
