I'm very fortunate to have Dr. Ronald Hartfelder as my GI specialist. He is understanding, kind, thorough, very detailed. He's an overall great doctor for other issues that are surrounded or possibly linked to GI issues, and he takes all the time necessary with his patients. I've known him for a number of years, and I'm very pleased that I'm still his patient. Even though he's moved on to other roles, he kept his basic patients, and I was fortunate enough to be one of them.

The doctor was extremely helpful and I absolutely loved his demeanor and he was very attentive to every problem that I might have had and even suggested different ways to combat other things that I didn't think of.

He was very easy to talk with and looked at my records to see what other providers had done regarding my recent medical issues as well as current ones. We discussed the medications I currently use for abdominal pain, bloating, constipation and diarrhea issues and changed medication. He has always been a very thorough doctor and thinks aloud so you know his reasoning for medical decisions.

Dr Hartfelder listened to all the issues I was having . I told him that he did my first colonoscopy and remembered I had a very prominent diverticulosis. I was very comfortable talking about my sensitive issues. He gave me a detailed plan to follow and scheduled a colonoscopy in the Fall.

Dr. Hartfelder spent a lot of time with me. Went thru my history and made suggestions to fix my problems. Will see me in 6 months but said to contact him through Patient Gateway with any problems. Fantastic Doctor.

Dr. Hartfelder saw me for over 40 minutes, extremely thorough in his analysis as to what my problem was, described the accurate medicine that I needed, and was very satisfied with the amount of time that it took for him to counsel me. I'm very happy with his performance.
