This is my second visit with Dr. Mendirichaga. Okay. He's very polite. He answers your questions. He's very good with giving you your feedback on your tests. His nurse the same way. I definitely would give him a 10 for recommending him to any patient with a heart problem. I never had one before, so he did it, yeah. Actually, I've seen him three times, once in the hospital. That's when I first met him. Okay, and I didn't go in for my heart. I went in for diperticulitis, but he ended up checking me all out for my heart because they thought I had a problem. So he is very good. You get your time. It's perfect when you go in there. He takes you right away. The nurse takes you right away. The receptionist is very nice. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Mendirichaga.

And he changed my prescription on to improve my H, my bad cholesterol. I was very impressed with the doctor and I was glad that he was the one who did my surgery. My experience with the doctor's nurse was excellent, my not excellent experience was with the nurse that did the prelim work prior to the doctor.In going through the prescrip list she was not helpful and sarcastic to me. It was unpleasant way to start the apt with a cardio patient. I did not know what a prescript was on the list and asked her what it was because I might know it as a generic name or vice versa. I am NOT a medical person - she is! She told me that I should know what it is if I have been taking it. However there have been prescript prescribed to me that my doctor and I decided not to follow through on based with my progress with a medical situation.It would have been quite easy for her to look it up on her system and help me. She just isn't the caliber of nurse working at MG that I would expect. Then she took my BP reading and it was super perfect, in fact better than a reading has ever been in a dr office never mind after being upset at the nurse. Now I wonder if it was even done properly. I am so sorry to have to write this but it still bothering me especially since I tried after her rudeness to find a common ground of communication.

This was not my first visit for a Pain Clinic procedure. I am genuinely impressed with all of my encounters. Everyone in this department works like a well-oiled machine. They are also so courteous to each other as well as the patients.

Dr. Mendirichaga: this was my first experience as a cardiac patient and my first visit with the doctor. My nervousness and concern was quickly relieved by the doctors, thoughtfulness, knowledge and manner. All my questions and concerns were answered in a thorough, and understandable way . I'm so happy to have found the doctor and I feel the hospital is so fortunate to have him on the staff.

Knowledgeable and helpful

This is a really good practice. The nurse took the initiative to help make sure that I had what was needed from them as a cardio practice in order to assure timely clearance for joint replacement surgery despite the paperwork being confused. Very appreciative of the ability to think on their feet and get it done for patients.

Doctor asked about if I had kids at home and I had my own kids. He didn't explain why he asked these questions. I guess these questions were related to my heart issue.
