Dr. Ugarte is outstanding! I would highly recommend him. That said, he was booking out 16 months for my next physical which seems excessive. This is not his problem but perhaps an issue with corporate scheduling philosophy or an overbooked practice. I appreciate that I was given the chance to book next year's physical with an NP for an earlier date, however I value my relationship with Dr. Ugarte and feel it is important to be able to see him for these annual visits.

This was my one and only time with this care provider. We were establishing new patient care and I appreciated him taking me even though it was difficult to get onto his calendar as I've been having trouble obtaining a PCP. So the wait for the appointment was excusable and the care that he provided was very thoughtful and he was very present and did not rush any of our conversations, which was very appreciated and he presents very knowledgeable and understanding all the systems and how to best help.

Dr UGARTE is excellent but overloaded . That is not his fault . It is your system . Health care is about treating disease symptoms with pills . Not preventive medicine. And that is not easily changed.
