Dr. Mallery is an outstanding doctor who navigates the unique and often complex aspects of my diagnosis, fully engaged and focused on the best possible outcome for my health, which is stability. I have stage 4 cancer, and it is currently stable thanks to [redacted] and Brigham and Women's Hospital. I feel supported by Dr. Mallery, and he can see the small and big picture of my health needs and communicate them and apply them in a realistic but hopeful manner. I feel very positive and good about my visits with Dr. Malllery. He inspires compassion, hope, and healing.

Yes, [redacted] I had a brain tumor removed with some disturbance to my left eye, and this doctor and his nurses have been remarkably helpful in the recovery since then. [redacted] I'm on the road to recovery, and he's making sure of it. Thank you.

I had a thorough, professional visit with Dr. MALLERY, he listened to my concerns and had relevant past medical history to review with me, and explained the medical issues in a meaningful way.

My experience with this provider was excellent. I've never had a problem. He is comforting. He explains everything and I would highly recommend him.

During this particular visit with Dr. Mallery, my experience was average. I would say it was possibly better than several other appointments. I felt that in one appointment, he was actually a little agitated that I had been referred to his office and he was unable to assess me significantly at that time. He seems to know how to read the medical reports and the MRIs but his bedside manners are lacking and several times while I was asking questions he has cut me off and and told me to come back in 6 months.

Always very thoughtful and encouraging. I trust him with my care for a rare condition I suffer.

He addressed my questions about my pending shunt surgery for NPH, whether my ophthalmological condition was related to my NPH and provided solicited advice re my need for surgery.

He is a very nice man. I would have liked to have seen a little more of him or spent a little more time with him.

Dr Mallery is well acquainted with my neuro opthamology issue and sees me on a regular basis for ongoing monitoring. I think he is knowledgeable and practical and I have confidence in his recommendations.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mallery for nearly three and one-half years. He was one of the first doctors to examine me when I was admitted to BWH with, at that time, a still to be diagnosed neurological disease. Since my diagnosis he has been a constant presence in addressing my condition. I have found him to be a first-rate doctor who has never rushed appointments, always explained things clearly and generally an appointment I always look forward to having. His understanding of my disease and guidance provided has been invaluable and I cannot be more thankful for the good fortune in having him as my doctor.

First person who tested my eyes-perhaps new to the process-seemed to lack confidence in what she was doing and how she communicated with me

His details are all informative and he was helping a fellow to be learning how to be in his position. So it shows that he's a good teacher because the person looks like they were learning and actively participating. All very positive.

I did receive very accurate information on my strength of vision in each eye - but little suggestion on what I could do to improve my strength of vision - hopeful that MEE Vision Rehab will provide information for an optometrist who might fit me for best glasses

I feel so fortunate and grateful that I have been able to be treated by Dr. Mallery. He and his medical fellows have been thorough in their response to my medical issues. They ask pointed questions, take copious notes and are open to discourse. Science drives them but they are also humane. They demonstrate a high level of collaboration with the patient (ie me). I have had a positive experience each time I have visited Dr. Mallery.

Dr. Mallery and Dr. [redacted] were both excellent! They both took terrific care of me and listened intently to my description of what visual distortion I was experiencing, and then described potential causes for the distortion as well as a plan for following up on it.

He is very knowledgeable and explained that the Amiodarone medication side effects was the reason for my problem. Extremely thorough exam , plenty of time, knowledge and experience to find the reason. So happy I went there.

The provider did not listen to my complaints at all. Suggest that I could just not treat the problem because its not bothering me, after I have already explained all the ways its impacting me. Also questioned why I was there even though I was referred by a neurologist that he 'respects'. [redacted] I would have appreciated more empathy.
