Dr. Yong was a very caring, understanding doctor. I had bad experiences coming there with a few of the doctors when they were refilling my pump. So I was kind of nervous when I had Dr. Yong, but he was excellent. He answered all my questions. He made me feel comfortable. And he had mentioned another doctor was going to be in there, and I told him no because she was so disrespectful. And he understood. So that's why I'm telling you, Dr. Yong was patient. He made me feel really like, you know, I wasn't scared. That's it.

Dr. Yong is one of the best doctors I have on my list of doctors that I use. I was in severe pain when I went to him. He suggested a spinal cord stimulator. It's worked fine. I find him pleasant, courteous, and very proficient and accommodating.

I unfortunately felt like I didn't have enough time with Dr. Yong. I had another doctor who I thought maybe was his PA, but it wasn't. I don't know who he was. I assumed he was Dr. Young until halfway through the appointment he went and got Dr. Yong, who didn't really do much but kind of just smile and nod and didn't really explain much to me about the procedure they want to do and if there's any other options and I saw Dr. Yong for all of two minutes until the appointment was over and I left a lot more confused than going in. I'm an autistic adult too. I had my caregiver with me and she still thought it was a little bit ridiculous how short it was and didn't really feel like I was heard.

I enjoy Dr Yong immensely. He got a poor rating from me because the first Doctor that was questioning me really didn't want to take the time to listen to me. I had another spinal issue that I will take up with my PCP

I spent the majority of the time of my appointment with a different physician who didn't seem to know anything about my condition, even though I've been up to the pain clinic before, which was kind of disappointing. I didn't get to see Dr. Yong until the very end and only for a few minutes. But I liked Dr. Yong a lot, but I just, I only saw him, actually saw him for a few minutes at the very end. The MD that I, I don't remember the MD's name, that asked me all the questions and stuff, but he didn't seem to know anything about my history. So that was a little bit disappointing.

In general, I'm not a fan of the framework many specialists operate under, where they have a fellow or a resident who comes in to speak to you and get the whole story, and then the provider swoops in for a few minutes to, you know, provide their own take on things. I'd like to have more time with the provider. Thanks.

The care provider was great. He was prompt and arrived actually early to the appointment because I was early. The only thing is the appointment was very brief, and I feel like a little bit more explaining could be done. But overall, he listened to what I had gone through and made a plan of care that we both agreed with. So I thought that was good.

Dr. Yong is a warm caring person. He listened, made me feel comfortable and understood how much this spinal stimulator could change my life, and give me a chance at mobility. There was something exciting about walking into his office waiting room. Meeting the nurse continued with this positive feeling and meeting Dr. Yong was thoroughly reassuring that there was hope with my struggling mobility. [redacted]. Many surgeries and years of endless pain to my once very fit body left me hopeless. Dr. [redacted] performed lumbar reconstruction and knew the missing link was in the hands of Dr. Yong. They collaborated and were in agreement. No mater how much medicine and technology advances - the human connection is everything when it comes to hope and healing.
