Dr Norris did an excellent job of explaining my lower back ailment and why it causes pain. In addition, he explained what it would take to foster healing of my lower back in an understandable way.

Dr. Norris and his medical assistant, as well as all of his reception staff, are amazing, always have been, and I am very, very confident in them and trust them very much. I'm very thankful to have them around. Thank you very much.

Provider did not review my chart before seeing me. He did not conduct a physical exam at all. He did a good job educating me on the issue, but spent at least 85% of the time talking and did almost no listening. He seemed genuinely unconcerned about my pain and really didn't provide much recourse on how I could feel better

I've been seeing this provider for several years and have always been satisfied with Dr. Norris.

  • Reviewed on 3/29/2026

Dr. Norris spent a great deal of time and effort to try to understand the exact cause of my problem. He then explained in detail what he thought might help me, and how he came to that conclusion. I believe he has proposed a thoughtful and logical way forward. Excellent visit.

One of the best doctors I've ever worked with in my [redacted] years. Prepared for visit when I walked in. Told him I was anxious. Had easy going manner that put me at ease. Took time to listen/get good history. I felt heard/respected. Took time to use charts, books, anatomical model, X-rays, plus his own knowledge base to explain my situation in way I understood. Did exam, able to form diagnosis. Liked his conservative approach to my situation. [redacted] Very humble about my confidence in him. [redacted] Rarely give a doc a 10 but he deserves it.

  • Reviewed on 3/14/2026

[redacted] in general, with my experience with him for the last 12 years, he's a wonderful, compassionate man, and I have been through so much trauma, and he also knows that I deal with a lot of anxiety, and a lot about other pressures, and has sought ways to help me, like teaching me about meditation, and different ways to deal with, and look at life, having severe chronic pain that is just on ending. He is a wonderful person to be in that position, and you guys are very, very lucky to have him representing you. And my name is [redacted], and yeah, when I think about him, I smile. [redacted]

I have not seen Dr. Norris for several years and looked forward to seeing him again. I was not disappointed. He listened intently to my recent back trauma, looked up e-rays made at CDH in [redacted] and provided I very clear and helpful reading of it. [redacted] Explained the pain source and reassured me that a conservative approach would be best (massage, posture, belt...). He is famous for clear explanations. I left knowing so much more, I calmed down, and I'm actually slowly continuing to improve.

It was my first visit with this care provider. I think the visit was productive in helping identify the back issues I am having and providing an initial treatment to help remedy the situation. Dr. Norris seems very knowledgeable in his field and communicates clearly and positively with the client.

Dr. Norris is amazing and thorough in his approach. I had new spine concerns and he listened intently, performed the appropriate mobility tests, then ordered the proper imaging. I was in there for the usual SI joint dysfunction, but he took the time to hear my other mobility/pain struggles. He is a gem!

    Dr Norris is fantastic

  • Reviewed on 8/18/2025

He listened closely to what I had to say and joined that together with what he had read in reports to come up with a diagnosis. That diagnosis was hard to hear because there's nothing to fix the problem beyond pain management and possibly physical therapy. I talked about this doctor to family and friends because he is so different and different in a way that I like and respect. As he left, he reached out to touch my arm and to say that he was sorry that he didn't have more to offer and sorry that I had to be in this condition. The ability to honestly connect with a patient is rare in a doctor and I have seen a lot of them.

Possibly the best experience I've had speaking with a Dr about one of my far to many injuries. I was scared because of how much pain I've been in and he spent the time explaining and physically showing me with models and in an old book until I fully understood. I also just found him to be friendly as well.

I saw Dr. Norris. He did not address my physical issues at all. It seemed as though he was on his own track and not willing to listen to my issues. He had no idea as to what we had spoken about in other appointments. I wasted my time seeing him. He didn't even know or search for which disks are affecting me. He even argued with me as to where my pain was originally, and currently. I could go on and on. He was totally not interested in what I had to say or my needs. He was on his own agenda and treated me like I knew NOTHING about my body or physical history. He continually told me that I was wrong. I couldn't get him to listen to me so that I could get the help, guidance and relief which I was in need of.

I wish that my record and my MRI had been looked at before I arrived. That might have saved some time. I also feel that the level of my insurance might be affecting my outcome. I didn't get a printout of the results of the visit. I know I can go into a portal, but I would have liked one at the time to jog my memory because there was a lot of information, that Dr. Norris does have a lot of information. So just for me to navigate, to know what the future will be like with the condition. [redacted]
