Dr. Wilk has been a great person to have in my corner guiding me through a difficult year with multiple 'bumps in the road' to fix my knee. He was always straight up with me and I always felt as though he had my best interest in mind to get back to 100% and playing sports.

He's been very attentive and made sure to check in with me and follow up with me as well as schedule my surgery timely and help me to get my surgeries accomplished through where some comps with some issues there. And I just wanted to say I'm very grateful for Dr. Wilk and he is awesome.

During my time with both Dr. Wilk and a sports medicine professional [redacted], I felt like I was seen as a body to examine and not a person to be helped. They spoke to each other using incomprehensible medical terminology as if I were not there at all, did not address my chief complaint (which I had to bring up multiple times), and were fairly rough in their physical examinations. I would say both individuals could improve on their bedside manner. I have never felt so small and invisible in a medical setting and would be highly reluctant to work with either individual again.

Dr. Wilk is a miracle worker. He changed my life! I can walk for the first time in 20 years with no pain. He is professional, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I have enjoyed working with him, and we are available if he is needed again.

Hi, I had a positive experience with the provider, also with the, I'm not sure if it's the nurse or medical assistant, along with the staff that checked me in and checked me out. Overall, visit was a good visit.

Dr. Wilk, was clear about one plan of action during new patient visit after xray and physical exam. After switching to another orthopedic doctor for a second opinion, shortly thereafter Dr. Wilk had messaged with an entirely different plan from previously spoken in first and last, office visit.

Richard Wilk did not take one second to look at my chart before coming into an appointment that he was 45 minutes late for. The first thing he asked me was if I skied at loon mountain because of the loon sticker on my phone. He asked me if I bought my season pass yet to which I responded that I was going to but my MRI results revealed that my labrum is torn and you cannot ski with a torn labrum. He admitted he had not looked at anything in my chart before saying this. You would think that someone with as much experience as him would have a better idea of what not to say when a young person is at an orthopedic surgeon appointment. [redacted]

I felt somewhat dismissed and unheard. The provider may have been thinking I have a simple case, or maybe there are no clear answers (yet) but it isn't simple or clear to me. I'm still not sure what I should/not be doing in this interm phase (before an MRI)

Dr Wilk was great. He apologized for being late, which I don't hold against him-I assume he has little control over his scheduling. He was an excellent doctor who took my complaints seriously. I genuinely wasn't expecting much from an appointment where the extent of my symptoms were "knee pain at night." Dr Wilk is clearly an expert in the field and was able to identify the problem. He was also very helpful in teaching the PA in the room about a problem she hadn't come across yet.

I did not feel like Dr Wilk was engaging or interested in what I had to say about my health as I have MS . He didn't want to order PT saying I should remember the exercises from 2023 when I saw the PA. He was ready to be done with me and to move on to next patient it seemed. [redacted]

He was very attentive and answered all of my questions which I brought with me. He told me what I should expect in the future and to let him know if I needed any more information and to contact him if I had any more questions. I was nervous and he helped me to know more about my condition. I will contact him about anything more in the future. I highly recommend Dr.Wilk.

Excellent experience with Dr. Wilk and the PA [redacted]. They both listened to my concerns and provided exceptional service. The dialogue was open and they made sure my husband & I understood everything. Physical exam was also thorough and focused on ensuring that he fully understood the route of my pain. Took a lot of time reviewing my X-rays and mri and explained what he saw in a way that I understood. Did a fantastic job of explaining the course of treatment and what it involved. Overall great experience.

When I told Dr Wilk that I was going through the steps to have gastric bypass he focused solely on my weight. My knee problem isn't just from weight gain. He didn't really want to hear the back story as to why and how the knee pain started. When I fell a couple weeks ago is what made things worse and urgent care told me to see a orthopedic specialist

I was very happy with my first and only (so far) appointment. I felt like I was in good hands and will be given excellent care. Dr. Wilk ordered an MRI - scheduled for the end of this week.

Dr. Wilk is one of two doctors in Boston recommended to me for a more unique hip problem. He has been great.

Dr. Wilk is a friendly, compassionate provider. He talks with patients in an easy-to-understand manner and reviews X-rays on his computer screen with me, so I can see what he's discussing.

First experience -- he seems knowledgeable and is very charming. Made me feel like I was in good hands.
