My symptoms are complex and well-documented, including recurrent sinus infections, inflammation, and obstruction that is sometimes unilateral and episodic. Despite sharing detailed history, previous imaging, and symptom patterns, I felt that my concerns were minimized. The focus was on a CT scan from several months prior, which does not reflect my current flare-ups, and my description of acute, recurrent issues was not addressed in a meaningful way. I left feeling dismissed and without actionable guidance for managing a complex, chronic condition. I would encourage the office to take the full patient history into account, especially for patients with recurrent or atypical sinus issues.
