I don't a lot of time with a (I believe) was a 3rd year Resident who was extremely kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I then saw the doctor who was also kind, patient and very knowledgeable. My experience was a 10!!!!

I'm really grateful that I'm welcome to ask questions and feel empowered to collaborate. Not all providers welcome input or try to understand my needs that I openly convey to take into account of treatment plans. Or they might dismiss my attempts to clarify things that are beyond my scope of knowledge. I'm really grateful that Dr Gaffney is not like that. I can be a better patient when I'm on the same page, and I'll admit just having a lot of jargon thrown at me without being able to see it spelled or look up the meaning...totally can confuse me. I'm not in the medical field, I am not trying to be obtuse or difficult when I ask questions. I feel a lot better feeling some sense of agency and being heard, and it's always a relief when you get receptive providers like Dr. Gaffney. I hope to do better and learn more about my condition when my life is less chaotic in a year...hopefully. In the meantime, I feel like I'm in really good hands, and that's some weight and stress off.
