I wish I had had time to think about my situation because afterwards I did have some questions that I don't have answers for

I was stunned that the provider did not do any kind of PE especially since I had come injury with an injury to my leg. While it was feeling better than when I first injured it, I expected that he might do a little more to assess the injury.

Dr. Monto always makes me feel better. His long term pain management plan for the arthritis in my hands and now my foot has been very successful. He is also very empathetic.

Dr Moto was knowledgeable and very helpful in looking at my problem and explaining the issues.

We were recommended to Monto for a broken toe. I tried calling the office twice to see if we actually needed to see Monto. When we saw Monto he agreed we didn't need to be seen. It's too bad he or someone cant magically have office hours to review cases/xrays ahead of time

While I have seen Dr. Monto before for something else, I didn't really feel that he gave me enough time. This time looking at my shoulder and my hip, I would have liked a little more interaction with him instead of just pushing me off to get an MRI. Other than that, he's a good guy. I just would have liked a little more time.

Superior experience

Well, he is a tremendous doctor, very attentive and knows his professional work very well.

He's abrupt and doesn't really listen to what you have to say only what he has to say! He told me what he thought he wanted to do not what I wanted to do and then he walked out of the office!

Dr. Monto made efforts to see me right away. There was zero delay in care. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and communicates openly his thoughts and recommendations. He is willing to reach out to other orthopedic providers to get second opinions and send referrals as needed when developing care plans. In my experience Dr. Monto does not hesitate to provide care for anyone that walks through the door even if they, like me, are a repeat offenders of orthopedic injuries. We are lucky to have Dr. Monto at Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
