He was clearly experienced in all areas we discussed and gave a good amount of attention to my conditions so he was sure to be accurate and sufficiently detailed in his reports on me. Provider was exceedingly knowledgeable and compassionate. He thoroughly evaluated my medical history from Patient Gateway (I was one of the first patients at MGH to sign up for the service.), asked me relevant questions and provided a logical game plan for my new local PCP to follow. Some providers can identify irregularities; few can separate the wheat from the chaff. Dr. Zielinski can do both.

[redacted] This Initial Entry Appointment is first-rate!! The doctor spent over an hour with me going over my general health history plus surgeries, my medical conditions, and prescriptions. I'm not easily impressed, but I was impressed with this type of appointment and the doctor.

Several exceptional things about the visit: -amount of time devoted to just me (a record in my experience). -the importance given my medical history and the detailed recording of it. -the detailed discussion of available medications for my various conditions, how they work, and how they might (or might not) fit my needs. -the way Dr. Zielinski communicates (clear, no nonsense, intelligent but in plain language, confident of his strengths while freely admitting areas where he is not as proficient, very present and focused on you, humorous and engaging, not at all rushed, etc.) -the simple fact that someone (and someone so experienced and skilled) is available to be seen on relatively short notice and act as a temporary PCP until I can get in to see my new PCP (one year from now!), filling a gaping and dangerous hole in the healthcare system. I could go on, but over-all I was very impressed and pleased. The rest of the primary care team has a high bar to live up to.

I was most impressed with Dr, Zielinski. He was completely thorough in my first visit with him. He took time to build my entire medical history. He explained his methodology so I could provide what he needed from me as swiftly as possible. He was kind, direct, competent and used humor to make the interview as easy for me as possible. I sensed that he cared about me as an individual. He made me aware that I was taking an unhealthy combination of contraindicated drugs. He left the choice up to me as to which one to discontinue after fully informing me of the pros and cons of each. We worked well together, which I have found to be a rare quality in a doctor. I was truly involved in making decisions about my health. Again, rare. Mostly they lecture to you. A welcome change. I found Dr. Zielinski to be an exceptional physician.

[redacted] I thought Dr. Zielinski was a good experience. He takes the time to do a thorough examination of of the patient. He does a very good job in describing the conditions and the plans to managing those conditions for short term to long term at a level that most people would would be able to understand. If there was a small waiting time it doesn't bother me because I know he doing right for the other patients as he did for. His personality made my visit a pleasant experience. [redacted] Dr. Zielinski hardly let me get a word in, taking the majority of my time talking about himself, his experience as a doctor and even his own [redacted] issues. He cut me off every time I tried to ask a question or share my concerns. He made a completely inappropriate sexual joke to me in the visit which was appalling. He cast judgement on the care I was seeking and told me it sounded like I likely had something wrong but refused to help me figure it out because we might find something we are not looking for. Dr. Zielinski was the most compassionate and knowledgeable physician I have been fortunate enough to have met... in a very long time. He spent more time with me explaining my every concern, query, or record entry I had. I learned a great deal and regard myself as very well informed after meeting him. He put my mind at ease and filled my knowledge base with a great deal of important insights, guidance, and recommendation(s). I was assigned to him only for roughly six months, but wish it were longer. Dr. Zielinski is a rare find. I'm very grateful to have him as my PCP.
