Dr. Franco welcomes me with sincerity and enthusiasm. He remembers my issues without needing notes and understands my personal situation and history. He is thorough and attentive. I wish more doctors had his professional, yet caring attention. He truly is a credit to Mass General.

Dr Franco and the staff of the Department of Laryngology listen well, communicate clearly and concisely. The office staff is efficient, enthusiastic, friendly and thorough in explaining what is needed prior to the office visit/consultation. They are also sensitive to the distances that patients travel to seek care at the clinic and then take extraordinary steps to obtain prior approvals and make room for the consultation and intervention/procedure to occur during the same visit. Dr. Franco is technically superb in his skill set, has a high emotional intelligence, is patient and compassionate when interacting with patients who have significant challenges with their voice quality. We are grateful to him, the staff, and the institution for the care that has been provided to us. As an aside the creator of this survey should change the noun from "provider" to a more appropriate, respectful descriptor. Clinician is a generic term but more accurate. Dr. Franco is a surgeon/physician and he should be referred to as such. This is a basic professional courtesy that should be extended to all physicians, physician associates, and nurse practitioners. Executive Leadership should honor, embrace and encourage this change.

He is an expert in his field and has is easy to talk to.

And that was excellent. And he provided me with a wonderful possibility, a wonderful choice in a non-medical substance that's going to help me, I'm sure. He was then tremendously helpful on all of the work, and I would highly recommend them for everything, including the staff that was there with them.

Dr Franco was prepared and informative. Would have preferred a numbing agent prior to nasal inspection but it sounds as though he followed current protocol. Not painful just uncomfortable and nerves on edge

Every body was very nice & helpful, I'm from Maine and traveled 3-1/2 hrs on a train and stayed the night in a hotel just to see Dr. Franco and I believe it was worth it. Mass. General is huge and very, very busy. Maine is quite different from Boston and so are the hospitals. I live 5 minutes from my hospital in [redacted] and i know the CEO and alot of the people that work there. I was a little concerned about the unformiler experience.
