Rachel made the ultrasound experience wonderful. She showed kindness, compassion, and a genuine interest in making me comfortable and aware of what she was doing during the entire procedure. She described at length what she would be doing in advance and kept me updated throughout the procedure. I was so impressed that I shared how well the experience went and the care that Rachel gave with several family members and friends! Very often in medical settings the patient is treated like a number and there's no feeling of care and compassion and the medical professional seems to be jaded and just trying to get through the day. I can truly say that this experience made me feel like Rachel cared and that she was in the medical field because she really wanted to help people. Throughout the procedure she took the time to show me what she was seeing on the screen and to explain what the different artifacts were and reassure me that it was normal. I can't say enough how much calmer she made me feel. She was engaged and helpful at all times. I appreciate how she handled everything from beginning to end and I applaud you for having such a professional at the practice. It makes me want to recommend this facility to all of my family and friends.

Extremely knowledgeable and extremely prepared considering my previous history was with a doctor from a different provider (Atrius). The difference in each doctor's plan was like night and day. I'm SO glad I sought a second opinion and a new gastroenterologist!

Hello, well, reviewing Dr. Winter would take more than a minute, but I've had a crown for quite some time, and relatively recently, in the last couple of years, I switched to Dr. Winter. And she, you know, given the condition and given everything, I just only wish that every physician would be like that. And that I'm fortunate that I landed on her as my healthcare provider. And she's, I feel she's an amazing asset to the Brigham system. And she's just spectacular in the way she manages my disease, in a way she made certain adjustments, the way she explains, the way she's on top of the stuff that I haven't done before that has to do with my overall health.
