Dr Abelman is so in tune with her patients. I feel so fortunate to have been in her care. Her staff is equally amazing.

Excellent communication Caring , kind and understanding

I had two appointments, one with a medical oncologist and the other with radiation oncology. They were both outstanding they spent time. They explained clearly listened to all of my questions and explained my options for both I could not have been happier with the two of them and really appreciate the hard work that they do

It felt a little rushed, but I don't think that affected the care. I understand providers are under a lot of pressure to see a lot of patients.

Dr. Abelman is a wonderful doctor. I really enjoy her as my doctor and she's thorough and a very lucky person that you have her on staff at Mass General.

Dr. Abelman is caring, knowledgeable and supportive. This was my first visit with her-she came well-recommended. She spent a lot of time going over my history and options for care--it was definitely shared decision-making between us. I feel comfortable sharing my issues with her and moving forward with treatment with her guidance.

And that was Dr. Rachel Abelman. Just one time for a consultation along with a surgeon and radiologist. She was extremely nice, listened to everything I had to say, extremely competent. She gave me great advice, medical advice. It was spot on. I'm not sure if I need to see her in the future, depending upon what pathology she's back with. after my surgery, but I would love, if I need an oncologist, she is the person I would want. And she's very capable and I feel really comfortable having her as my doctor.

The nurses were kind and nurturing. Made me feel at ease.

She was very familiar with my medical condition/history. She explained the treatments & recommended other referrals I should request for optimal outcomes.

Dr. Abelman is awesome! She is a great doctor, highly knowledgable, experienced, gentle, thoughtful and helpful. She is up on the latest research. She is very good at explaining the fine points of probabilities and research details. I trust her advice and I am grateful for her. She is also efficient. Dr. Abelman got back to me with test results sooner than I expected. I am blessed to have her as my oncologist! Thank you!!
