She has always been a good and professional doctor

Usually quite empathetic, but this time made a judgement about amount of psychiatric medications prescribed as if it was too much ("wow you're stronger than me, I couldn't take that much xxx..."). For a person with mental illness and dementia, this is not thoughtful care.

We feel very comfortable and confident with Dr Khan

I felt that the physician who saw me was thorough but not very warm. It was a difficult encounter because I was seeing her about possible onset of early dementia and she didn't want to say too much, nor did she (yet) have a definitive answer, but I did not feel accompanied or comforted in my uncertainty. I was left feeling that I'm not sure what the news is, and I won't know for weeks to months, but it is probably bad.

I would be confident to continue being treated by this provider.
