About Priya S Gupta

Dr. Priya Sarin Gupta is a primary care physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Charlestown Health Care Center, a researcher in health disparities, faculty at Harvard Medical School and the Medical Director for Mobile Health Services for the MGH Kraft Center for Community Health. Dr. Gupta completed a fellowship in Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine from Johns Hopkins University, a residency in family medicine from Brown University and a Masters of Public Health focusing on the social determinants of health disparities from Columbia University. She has had a longstanding interest in addressing and understanding health disparities and majored in public health as an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University before going on to medical school at Albany Medical College. As a primary care physician, Dr. Gupta specializes in women’s health, the care of young adults and substance use disorders with a focus on health disparities. As the Medical Director for Mobile Health Service at the MGH Kraft Center, Dr. Gupta directs clinical operations and evaluation for the Kraft Center / Mass General Brigham Mobile Health Service which is currently focusing on COVID Testing and Vaccine on the mobile platform with plans to expand into addressing cardiometabolic conditions, in the near future. To better support the people who live and work in communities hardest hit by COVID-19, COVID Testing and Vaccine Van is bringing free, walk-up COVID-19 testing and vaccine provision to underserved populations (adults and children) in vulnerable communities. The program employs a double equity model, combining public health science and community partnerships, and offers a variety of additional services including social determinants screening and referrals. This academic driven, community facing initiative is the building block of the future Mass General Brigham Mobile Health Service line. Dr. Gupta is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics- Underserved Populations (RadX-UP) grant and the NIH RadX-UP CDCC Research Pilot Program grant (R105A) for this work and serves as the Principal Investigator for the RADx-MOTx (Mobile Outreach for Testing Expansion) clinical research lab.
