Dr. Pitchaphon Sandy Nissaisorakarn is AST-trained in Transplant Nephrology and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. In addition, she serves as an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She evaluates new transplant referrals as well as provides care for transplant recipients at the Transplant Center, MGH. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.
Her passion is improving long-term care and quality of life for patients with end-stage kidney disease through kidney transplantation. Her research interests include clinical research geared towards early detection of rejection including novel biomarkers and improving transplant outcomes.

This doctor is simply incredible. Since my transplant a year ago I could not ask for a better doctor. I am very grateful to have someone that is extremely knowledgeable and equally caring. It's been quite a journey and she has been a huge support all along the way.
