I had a great experience with this doctor. He listened to everything I said. He talked me through everything that we were going to do. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor on that day.

Dr. Song was prepared and informed for our visit. We benefitted greatly from his knowledge and believe that he will follow our case and provide ongoing beneficial input. He spent time with his clinical notes which has also been helpful to move things forward at our current facility.

This may say it all and yet no enough to give Dr. Song enough praise: Suffice it to say the he is known among his overflowing waiting room as "A God among Healers," and I, for one, vouch for that 100%. There are not words to describe this doctor: brilliant, yet humble, a superb, compassionate listener: He freezes the world just for YOU that moment and looks right into your eyes - and the healing begins. He's saved my life twice and it all started with his listening - as he is doing right now with a horrible medication side effect that targeted my vocal chords, esophagus. I was extremely pleased with my entire experience with Mass Eye and Ear so far. I still have additional treatments ahead but the staff, nurses and physicians have given me the total confidence that they will manage my treatment successfully. i cannot thank them all enough.

Unfortunately I started to feel fainted. Doctor Song reacted immediately and had nurses come in to treat me. My blood pressure dropped very low. For 20 minutes or so they worked to get my blood pressure back to normal.

Dr. Song is so knowledgeable that he inspires the maximum amount of confidence. His bedside manner also is superb.

I HAD MET WITH DR. SONG BACK IN 2019....I HAD HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY VOCAL CHORD. HE HAD DONE A VERY VERY GOOD JOB TREATING ME, HE REMOVED SOME "STUFF" FROM MY VOCAL CHORD. I SAW HIM JUST RECENTLY, AS I WAS HAVING DISCOMFORT AGAIN WITH MY VOICE. AGAIN MY WIFE AND I WERE APPRECIATIVE OF HOW HE TREATED ME... LOOKED CAREFULLY DOWN MY THROAT, AND DETERMINED THAT MY VOCAL CHORDS LOOKED GOOD. DR. SONG'S DEMEANOR, KNOWLEDGE, AND HELPFULNESS WERE APPRECIATED BY US BOTH.

Dr Song and his team were very friendly, professional and did not rush through the exam or discussion afterwards.

He is thorough and shows me a replay of the scope vision. As he does this he explains exactly what we are looking at and the progress of the surgery. He never makes you feel hurried and answers all questions. He is a great surgeon and he always tells me how he works with a great staff.

I wish I found this provider sooner. I spent few years before trying to get proper test done with proper exam and went to other providers and before I got to this provider I did not get proper exam and tests done. But with Dr Song - he did exactly what I wanted to be done - the laryngoscopy and found what had to be found.

Philip Song seemed very inattentive, possibly distracted, during my [redacted] appointment. At his prompting, I described my symptoms and reason for visit. He did not listen closely at all, and asked a number of questions that were already addressed during my description. Gradually, it became clear that he had entered the appointment completely unfamiliar w/my history. I had previously visited him in [redacted] and Song asked many questions that showed he was completely unfamiliar w/this previous visit. Furthermore, he was completely unfamiliar with my ongoing medications, even though I had confirmed them with his nurse and they were current on Patient Gateway. [redacted]

Another great appointment with Dr Song. So fortunate to have been referred to him. Incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth and spent the appropriate time with me explaining and laying options and next steps to my treatment.

The assistant who collected information on current medical history including medications appeared to be recent in this position and required some assistance from my wife [present with me] in addition, removal or clarification. She was pleasant but it was obvious that she required additional time in her position to more expediently review and update necessary information. The nurse and (of course) the doctor were outstanding.

I thought Dr. Song was truly one of the nicest doctors I've ever seen. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and had a wonderful bedside manner.

I think Dr. Song is an excellent doctor. He had recommended that I have vocal therapy back in the summer and that was really wonderful for me. This visit, I was a little surprised that most of the visit was handled by a fellow or an intern. I'm not sure which... people came in to see me and they're the people that spent most of the time with me. And Dr. Song basically just came in at the last minute and rubber stamped what they were doing. So that was a little disappointing because I thought my appointment was with Dr. Song. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the practice and I really respect Dr. Song.

Dr. Song was actually kind of magical. I've been having symptoms for decades and I have been poo-pooed when I have described what is going on and he knew exactly what I was talking about and did not poo-poo my experience. He actually understood what I was describing and it's definitely not fixed. But the validation I finally received over how it feels when I choke and eat and wake up choking just to be understood by someone that ?
