This is a personal opinion but I felt a bit rushed through the physical. It's an annual one and I'm healthy but still feel being run through the system.

Dr. Elsea is caring, friendly and professional. He set me up with the tests I requested for my lungs and heart. He seemed to be a little bit rushed, but I know it's probably because he has a lot of patients to see and is supposed to keep each visit as close to the time allotted by Mass General.

Dr. Peter Elsea, is an excellent Internist, who listens to his patients, provides thorough exams, and follows up when needed. He is approachable, courteous, thorough and knowledgeable.

Dr. Elsea is the first and best PCP I've ever had that I feel comfortable with discussing any and all issues pertaining to my heath. He is sincerely interested in my test results and any concerns I have.

I generally see my doctor only at the annual wellness appointment. I had a number of concerns, some of which could be addressed through referrals, and most of which could be addressed quickly and well by the doctor who has known me for ten years. Great doctor, listens and explains everything

Dr. Elsea was friendly, professional and very responsive in seeing me at such short notice when my regular PCP wasn't available. He went out of his way to make sure I was able to see an eye doctor within my provider network as soon as possible, coordinating information with their office in a timely manner.

The experience was really good, starting with the pleasant young woman who checked me in. I was seen very quickly and the nurse was polite and professional. I had not seen Dr Elsea before, but I liked him tremendously. He has great bedside manner and was interested, engaged and thorough. I would see him again anytime.

Dr. Elsea was thorough: he asked pertinent questions, listened, followed up with exam, and discussed his ideas and diagnosis along with proposal for treatment. I would like Dr. Elsea to have called about my blood tests and explained what a "high" result on one test means. It was vitamin D! I haven't been outside except to walk to the car and my vitamin (Sentry) doesn't seem to have a vitamin D outside of the normal range...

I tend to forget to mention small concerns by the time the Dr. arrives. It might be nice to have the doctor prompt me to be still for a minute and try to recall any concerns I might have. We always just launch in to whatever the main reason was for my visit and I invariable think of something I meant to inquire about as I'm pulling out of the parking lot.
